Political Correctness

I really don't get how this is even a conversation. There have been radio edits of songs as long as there has been radio.
Correct and it isn't the "youth" that are making decisions at the BBC when they do sensor/alter something. A large section of the people that are getting upset about this are the very same people that had a break down about a dance troupe on ITV and are probably boycotting sainsburys.

It's literally a none story that shouldn't warrent any reaction, if people want to hear the unsensored version put radio 2 on it's quite simple, other than that they can write a strongly worded letter to points of view like everyone used to in the good old days when nobody ever got offended about anything 🙄

British people getting upset about the temporary removal of an American term of hate (`God hates Fags`) from a song by an Irish band, that upsets them because we shouldn`t pander to those who get upset. :)

Apart from that observation, agree entirely with Paddy and Sepp.

That’s the thing, we are not America, yet we seem to judge everything and everyone as if we are. We have taken on so many Americanisms in the last decade though that we have become more like the 51st state of the USA rather than a former member of the EU!
