Its time to move on now and start to see what a Post Brexit Britain is going to look like.

Heres a clue.

Theres a reason theyve forced our media to stay silent about whats happening over in France.

Sir David Attenborough better watch out ?

How dare he draw our attention to the impending climate disaster. Inciting protests by dangerous terrorists.

Lock him up!

The good news is that if things get really bad we can elect a different government. (Assuming the opposition get their act together and become electable)

By what mechanism would we change a bad EU policy ?

That's easy

They simply bring out another BAD policy in its place

Get the MEPs to vote it down. Or use our veto. Depends.

Let's see where we are after 5 years of these shysters running the show.

And since Brexit will be done in less than a fortnight's time let's not worry about bad EU policies eh? We've taken back control so all the policies will be our own.

The policy blocking refugee children being reunited with their parents has been voted down in the Lords. Itll be interesting to see how Johnson plays this one.

Banning terrorist propaganda = banning academic lectures.

We've had some engaging discussions on dystopia and conservatism in seminars this year and in my papers and some of the things that have come through aren't pretty.

If there was ever a possibility of the House of Lords being abolished it's under these power-grabbing charlatans.

I expect he’ll use the Parliament Act to force it through if need be but glad the HoL is making him squirm on this.

If it's one of the many areas not covered by veto, or taken out of the hands of parliament, what then? There are many ways in which the EU can introduce policies and allow 'mission creep' that subvert the normal processes (we know all about that in Greece). It's something that we discussed on here at great length.

And that's IF it's mandatory for all countries to follow. Which sometimes it isn't. The only ones that are IIRC are the ones that either keep society functioning or protect our people and their rights.

I know. Unfortunately, reality is that this notion that we can now all vote out a uk government if we don’t like a bad policy- it’s a bit theoretical really. If you’re honest. Nevertheless it is still a theoretical pro when it comes to the pros and cons of Brexit. There is no denying that one.
