Prediction League 2021-22 - Enter the Cash League NOW

Latest update, we have 24 entries so far. The prize money would be:

1st: £120
2nd: £60
3rd: £30
Charity: £30.

I wasn't going to do guess the crowd this season because I didn't know what the situation would be. But, it's now looking like fans will be allowed into matches without restrictions so I'm thinking of bringing it back. Some people have already made predictions for the first 4 games, so I'd bring it back for the Peterborough game if there are no objections. Any comments welcome.

For info, the new rules would be as follows (from the Peterborough game onwards):

Please post your prediction in the following format:

<Home team> <Home Score> - <Away Score> <Away Team>
<Name of first scorer>
<Attendance>

e.g. PNE 26-0 Blackpool
Finney
23,404

4 points for correct result W/L/D plus:
1 point for correct home score
1 point for correct away score

7 points for correct score (including 0-0)

2 points for correct first scorer or 1 point for correct scorer at any other time
You can only predict one goalscorer. Two or more and it won't count.

Plus a bonus point to anyone who predicts both the correct score and first scorer.

Plus a 2 point bonus for whoever guesses closest to the attendance or 1 point each to the closest predictions if there's a tie.

Total 12 points up for grabs.

Update and provisional prize money:

With just 4 hrs until kick off, we have 27 entries for the cash league.

The prize money will be:

Winner: £120
2nd: £60
3rd: £40
4th: £20

With £30 going to a local charity.

This could change of course if we get any last minute entries.

I'd be happy enough to split any winnings with LIS as a reward for running this ? It must take quite a lot of his time.

Mind you half of zilch is still zilch..
