  • As you may be aware, North End forward Finlay Cross-Adair appeared at Preston Magistrates' Court charged with a string of offences including several counts of assault and stalking. He will next appear at Preston Crown Court on June 30 for the Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing. In order to not prejudice the forthcoming trail and to ensure no defamation cases could be made against users or the forum itself we request that users do not post anything regarding this case on PNE-Online. We always wish to allow freedom of speech but our number one priority is ensuring the future of the forum. We will keep this policy under review once this case has gone to court. Many thanks for your continued support.

Championship fixtures release date.

Not long until you can start planning those midweek trips to Plymouth & Ipswich.

PSC meeting 15/05/23

I can see why PR and the ownership are going out of their way to keep these meetings/ Q&A sessions as infrequent and brief as possible. They don’t want to face some awkward questions.

Who owns the club (from a technical and legal perspective)? The Trust would be the answer. The follow up question would be ‘who controls the Trust’?

The next question would be ‘why are the two individuals who control the Trust not involved in this conversation’?

IMO PR remains in place because he shields the actual decision makers from direct scrutiny. We are going to be L1 by the time these questions are answered, by which time it will be too late given the SCMP restrictions at that level. Reckon we have 6 months to find new owners if we are to remain a championship club.

I thought I was being generous giving it 6 months….
It's always doom and gloom before a season tho.. but we end up sat in mid table... BUT.. this is the only season in about 20 years that I'm not worried about relegation which probably means we'll be in a relegation fight 😑.. nah, mid table

The minutes do the same trick of omission that the "Update from the Chairman" did - they talk about the Town End roof only, and completely ignore all the other roofs, which we know also need attention.

Was anything said at the meeting about the other leaking roofs at the stadium?
Yes, they are on a long list of works. They see the Town End as the priority first

They’ve faced plenty of awkward questions lol. I’ve asked plenty personally. What fans have to remember is that we can’t change who we deal with opposite the table, unless the owners move on. Which seems unlikely in the short/medium term IMHO.
