To be fair Lowe said exactly this

'I don't really want to put a target on it as such. We've got him down and pencilled in for being back around us in September. That brings him up to so many months of being out and rehab."

Think Riss himself will of targeted this as no doubt he is keen to get back but for me like people are moaning about now no Keane time frame update. But he has clearly said there nothing certain.

Pinning our hopes on Riis and Evans this season is barmy. We should have written both off for the season and acted/recruited accordingly. A return by either/both would have then been a bonus

The other thing many seem to ignore is that neither one of them may ever regain their former ability.

I'd argue that by getting a 5th striker onto the books we did exactly this.
