Safe-standing on the Townend?

A safe standing section would be good in the bottom corner of the Town End closest to the Finney. The little half block below the disabled platform would be ample.

That way, they can be seen and heard from pretty much anywhere in the ground. It would also get the Finney going somewhat.
I would have it opposite side by the tunnel so the squad/manager see and hear them as they come out. It would make it more intimidating for the opposition as well.

or put standing at the front ?
This won't work as you'll still have your problem of people sitting down directly behind the last line of standers unless you're going to sacrifice the immediate 3 or 4 rows behind them as "not for sale" which isn't financially savvy.

2/3rds sitting, the remaining 1/3rd higher up have the option to stand.

Everyone is happy, yes?

Blindingly obvious really! 😂

Doh
Standing at the front
Means people can’t see behind
Didn’t think that one through

At away games we are at the 'mercy' of how they sell their tickets via Deepdale and how well or bothered their Stewards are in making sure people sit where their tickets says they should sit, and lots of people want be with thei freinds or family either all standing or all sitting, etc And then others simply want to go to wind-up the Home fans and be there in the front row of any possible confrontation. And then others just want to get as much beer down, and see some of the game if they can.
I don't see any of this really changing, tbh.

Won't happen as it costs money, still waiting for the leaky roof on the AKTE to be repaired.
Precisely. Under present ownership there is zero chance of this happening. And even with any unknown future ownership you’d have to question if this would be the best use of (presumably limited) money.
