Sell the club and take Ridsdale with you.

Zero communication from Grovemoore.

Zero communication from the Chairman.

Why did they try for players and then that money disappeared.

It's got to the point that even the director doesn't bother to come out & start patronising us.

What's the plan?
The years of financial mismanagement with Ridsdale as the chief conductor are coming to a head. While TH was alive many gross mistakes such as stupid contact extensions and failure to invest properly in youth were made on the footballing side Other issues instigated by Hemmings himself going back to the original share issue, training ground fiasco etc alienated the good intentions of many loyal supporters. There was always a failure to communicate or acknowledge f*** ups but it was usually solves by Trevor throwing in a few extra quid at the right time and suddenly all nobbers desperate for success were fooled into believing times has changed.
The difference now is we apparently have trustees with no love for the club sticking rigidly to a financial plan so no more gestures to get the fans back on side. Problem is the f*** ups continue and the cumulative effect of all this bad management has caught up with them. They are not communicating because there is nothing they say or do which would explain other than saying sorry for all the mistakes but we can't put it right because the money men say no.
The only way out of this is to fess up, somehow l can't see this happening.

I don't think Ridsdale has ever admitted he has made a mistake in his career.

Where even is Ridsdale? Usually after a transfer window or fan unrest he’s the first one to call a press conference or go on one of the podcasts to lecture fans. Instead he’s disappeared into oblivion. We’re being treated like mugs by all of the hierarchy.

Probably knew even he couldn't try to worm his way out of that transfer window shambles.

The losses incurred by the club are a result of bad management, mediocre players on ridiculous wages. Until the clear out this summer, we had a massive squad with players not good enough for this division. The signings we made the summer before this, were disastrous, some of them out for the season before it began. The state the club is in, is a result of the owners, although they are very wealthy, they had no interest in this club as a focus of ambition, it has been treated as a burden, something that they are lumbered with.

I looked at the wage bill of Brentford the season before they went up, and there was only one player on wages above 10k a week, the director of finances Mr Ridsdale should be held responsible for the majority of this bad management, he was unable to sell at the right time, extended contracts to players with no future here. We need a fan's voice somewhere in the midst of this palava. It might straighten things out if we knew what the plans are, the owners say nothing, silence is the norm. I assume the club is for sale, but haven't heard anything official to verify that. It is also assumed there is no long term strategy at the club, regarding youth development or plans to upgrade the academy.

Everything at Deepdale is guesswork, rumours, and hearsay. We can take it that investment is not on the cards, after the summer recruitment, which fell far short of the manager's list of required incomings. Whatever good points the trustees have, their silence and lack of honesty and communication with the fans, signals that they don't give a toss about the club, it's history, wellbeing, or future development.

If, as is rumoured, the club is for sale, and if a buyer isn't found, then I wouldn't be surprised if a deal is done with Ridsdale to take control, and the Hemmings Group, wash their hands and walk away.

Yeah some very good observations in your post.
Having spent two months in the UK,
constructing a very attractive proposition for the club with, a five year investment offer and purchase, which was not even acknowledged. It seemed to us
they vere looking for too much for the club, which had a very low financial value for an investment of the amount we were offering.
It's a walk away in the end when all
offers will surely dry up, if not already. Good post.

Oh he's tried! Lots of "off the record" texts to fans saying there's no budget, when he's the man responsible for the budget and contract negotiations.

As soon as questions started to be asked about recruitment he hid away leaving Ryan Lowe to be the fall guy in the press.

Any chance of coming back in now that things have changed? A sensible, costed takeover with the promise of no PR would surely unite most of the fans.

Perhaps it's time for you to get back in touch, there has never been a better time.

I am glad I didn't fall for the season ticket bribery. I almost did. But I knew from a decade of empty promises that we would not sign players needed. What transpired was even worse than I expected.

I actually feel like this is fraud. The club has gained an immense pot of money in June from the season tickets. This money has since vanished. If Id bought one, I'd be in the ticket office Tuesday demanding a refund.

I have been on two of the games so far. I can see the will, endeavour and togetherness of the squad. But there are gaps and the team is toothless. Like a shark without any teeth.

Ryan Lowe without doubt is waiting for the next job offer. His subs scream rebellion. Doing what he can to highlight the shit he's been left with.

I wont get an ST until the owners sell up. And they better hurry up, because there is going to be an uprising.

There are only a few of the Hemmings family who have an interest in North End, Craig is very much a minority. 🤔🙄

Sad to say it, success is never gong to happen for us under the present regime. Its time for change at the top IF somebody would be prepared to take it on. I've been a fan 45 years+ and like most of the fanbase I've had enough!
It's such a shame, the city of Preston could easily support a Premier League club. There is a lot of love for PNE among the population just crying out for some success.

Get your wallet out and buy it then. There is not a massive queue behind you.

It’s not for him or anyone one of us to buy it though. Mr Hemmings Snr insisted on buying the club and paid peanuts for it leaving a lot of shareholders losing out massively. Now as far as I understand it, the family have to deal with the club like any other asset or debt of their late Father, and deal with it in a fit and proper manner. Demanding an excessive price but, not getting any offers, so running the club into the ground and calling it self sufficiency is both unethical and shameful.
