Worth noting that we’ve occasionally pulled a rabbit from the hat with virtually no prior rumour whatsoever. Eg Riis. What the twitterati “know” is likely a long long way from the truth. Because it’s either A/ kept under wraps or B/ complete toss.

If there’s nothing on then a bit of healthy rumour keeps people talking but likely the majority of what’s goes on doesn’t get anywhere near to even rumour stage.

Agree, but it’s a type of signings that we would sign especially as a back up GK , just like we had Ripley & Crowe signed to be our No2 GK

Solid enough back up. 30 games for Peterborough last season. Suppose Oluwayemi didn’t feel he’d get a chance with Woodman signing. Fair enough, just glad we’ve sorted the GK situation out early doors.
