What Delap lacked was application.

With all respect, what's Rosenior done to be classed as a quality manager? He talks a good game but currently boasts a win rate of 25% in the Championship and a points per game well below Lowe, who none (or very few of us) of us would describe as a quality manager.

Knowing quite a few Hull fans from going to university there, they're not convinced by Rosenior at all and find his style of play incredibly dour and uninspiring.

Delap was blighted by the same issues at Stoke as he was here, it'll be interesting to see how he does over a prolonged period of games.

Only Lowe plays dour and uninspiring football, nobody else.
