If it's a loan he may as well stay close to home, if it's a sale that could be a different matter?

Guess that we could find out today!

Plus would Everton want to loan him to a potential relegation rival ?

im surprised, and delighted, if true, that he chose us over Sunderland - but without bias I think that is a sound decision for him in terms of his own development. Seems like a lad with his head screwed on.

Meanwhile In other news, our local neighbours are having some problems.
To be fair, it was only if they wanted to get home straight away. They had the option to wait until the next day.
On the other hand, who wants to be fair when we are talking about the Plastics?

Last week was a hugely positive one, let’s hope it is this week too! My only minor gripe is that we didn’t manage to get the signings in before Benidorm, but I guess that can’t be helped.

Think someone on here made a very valid point about looking to go to Benidorm later in the preseason programme. This would help ensure signings made in the window have more chance of being involved in a vital part of the build up to the season.

It's just been frustrating as a supporter, watching us fall behind smaller clubs.
I told CH that I lined up on Deepdale road in 64, to watch the open top bus parade, having been beaten by West Ham.
I told them that I wondered if I'll ever see us play in the top division and how frustrating it is to see all the other Lancashire clubs make it.
Some more than once.
I agree that’s been my issue too. Well that and the not even trying and the culture of playing for 50 points and not 46 games it’s infuriating.

I think it's hard to say, he took to the Championship with ease, give him chances and i'd back him to put most away, even in the Prem.

The guy just has a natural knack of finding the corner, and physically, he's no kid.
Layton Stewart will learn so much from him too.

Interesting comment from Lowe after the game on Saturday about hoping to get another one in the mould of Layton Stewart in but more of a “false 9”.

Would be a welcome change to recruitment if they could do that for various positions.

We h

Good morning Ron. We don't for one minute think that my mate pushed PR/CH immediately into the transfer market. But it let them know how, a lot of long term supporters are feeling with the lack of serious signings, in the last 2 to 3 transfer windows.
Out of approximately 12,000 season ticket holders, not all will agree with each other (same as on this forum). We just put our feelings to the owners.

Morning TB1, it wasn't aimed at you but more at Bobbage's statement, no offence meant if there was any taken.

Don’t want to be sounding negative as I’m impressed with the business so far-but there’s no mention or whispers of any LWB’s coming in.. the injury situation isn’t being talked about either! Any news on Brady, Hughes and Whitman being ready for a friendly?

Is it looking like a loan for Cannon?
Or permanent?

I'd be delighted with both tbf, worry that Cannon could be recalled though.
