Correct, there have been people on this very thread arguing Biden is a socialist which is just bat shit. We'll have to agree to disagree about the gop representing the working class though because that's just as equally bizarre a suggestion .

Beware: FAKE ​

Can you (or anyone) remember if the words “manipulated media” appeared underneath at the time you posted it? I don’t think they were there.

I did have a nagging doubt at the time - about how it looked, which led to my suggestion the clip was “out of context”. But I did basically fall for it. Look again and It looks like they slowed down certain bits to make it look slow and dithery. (can’t find an official explanation though).

And (shame one me) that is the second faked video (on the same theme) that I have fallen for - portraying Joe as “losing his marbles”.

What a world we live in.

Yes it did. I did wonder why it was posted when there is plenty of none manipulated footage creepy Joe demonstrating his senility.

Not confident at all that there are videos showing senility. A lot of fakes around, it seems - and also, the fact he has a continual battle to fight a stammer often makes it look like he’s dithering.

edit: the LGBT post clearly doesn’t show senility.

BBC did a piece about his stammer and how he'd overcome/managed it over time and linked it in with a little boy struggling with his speech.
It is quite something to put yourself in the public eye with speech difficulties in a roll where you have to speak in public so much.
Then they recalled Cameron, Gideon and the rest of the arseholes ridiculing Ed Balls when he dared to stammer in the commons.

If you think the Republicans are now the party of the working class I imagine you’re in a minority.

Trump has cleverly tapped into the fears and prejudices of large swathes of the white working class with his policies and views based on hate, division and white supremacy and has drawn a lot of support from that sector over the last few years.

I suspect most traditional Republicans may now be concerned for the future of their party following last week’s shocking behaviour by their current leader and the thousands of white supremacists and militias who seem to have taken control of “their” party and committed unthinkable acts against the American Constitution and People. How many will now be wanting to distance themselves from those horrors?

Just two more days to wait now until we see sensible, reasonable, responsible and professional people governing America for the benefit of their own people, it’s traditional allies and for people all across the world.

The right are picking up on certain concerns of the working classes and using them to manipulate votes. Theyre very good at it, Steve Bannon is a genuine expert.

Doubt its very little to do with a supposed stammer and more to do with an old man in obvious cognitive decline, just compare footage of him speaking when he was younger to him speaking now.

As other have mentioned, we will be seeing a lot of Kamala in the next 4 years.

Just as we’ve seen a lot of Mike Pence and other leading members of the Trump Administration such as Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, Kellyanne Conway, Steve Bannon etc.

That’s how it normally works.
