It's all full of bloatwear mate you should get w95 or xp... go full retro.
I have two desktops, one running 11 and one 10, also have others for running outdated hardware, using XP and 7, scanners and an A2 printer. I did an MCSE course once for Microsoft engineer, and Networking for Windows 98, loved it.

Nowadays, if I do an update for Win 11, I scan afterwards and the update is usually comprised of tracking software and unnecessary cookies, usually about 1800 to 2000, I then delete the lot.

And yet the party that appeals to the patriotic vote is the one that sells off the national assets, runs down national infrastructure and services, takes houses and land for the populace and allows them to go unused as a property investment for the overseas rich.

The party that does all it can to plunge much of the population into poverty creating energy, food and housing crisises. The party that doesn't close tax loopholes allowing money we create that could benefit everyone to be siphoned overseas. It's the party that intentionally runs everything down to the benefit of their rich mates.

This government isn't close to patriotic yet all they have to do is wave a union jack, slag off Europe and immigrants and wank off over the IDEA of a monarchy, strong police and military and the flag shaggers lap it up.

Still, for all the flag shaggers pride in Britain, they really aren't, because if they had any pride and decency Tories wouldn't exist, would they?

It's the biggest con going that this shower are 'patriotic'.

I don't think the Unions should have called off their strikes. They showed 'respect' whilst the Tories worked behind the scenes as crocodile tears poured to siphon off more of the nations wealth. It's about time the left stopped trying to win a PR battle whilst their enemies stick the boot in
Can you shorten you're post by about 16,000 posts please. Or a summary at the bottom of each post will do.. I'm incredibly busy so I can't read long posts much. Thanks bud

It's scary because we think we will be picked off, but they can make strikes illegal all they want. If groups of workers or parts of industry collaborated they could bring the country to a halt.

We have no idea of our real power because we are continuously told our only power is voting for white or brown bread with our shit sandwich every four years.

Trade Unions should respond to this threat in the same way the Tories do. They have bo qualms about fighting a class war - neither should we....
Only just heart part of the announcement. The tone, the phrase 'for too long we've battled with redistribution'-as if to say 'here's the exocet to blow your hopes away, we win'
The the comment about strikes at the end. The whole thing sounded like an attack on working people, as well as those on benefits.
If they want a fight, I think they'll get one, gloves are off.

Completely agree, was just pointing out that was the reasoning behind eie stepping back a little, they needn't have done so for me.

I know you get it and agree. Apologies if it looked like I was ranting at you, my post does read that way.

Kind of boils my blood that the left are always worried about how their enemies may portray them, following unwritten rules of convention whilst the right don't give a toss.

Many of the people who pay the top tax rate have the ability to control what their earnings are by what they draw out of their company - and they will cap it at £150,000 to avoid the 47p rate

Unpopular view, but I would have a small wager that those 629,000 end up paying more in tax next year than this, even in a recession.

If they're a company director and taking £150k as income/salary they probably should get a better accountant.

It's something like 20% of the top 1% of earners (i.e. the 629k) are self employed or company owners, so 80% are salaried employers who probably aren't as flexible in what they can do

I got a new one not long back, the old one, had to be repaired, cooling system sprung a leak onto the GPU, managed to get both units repaired for free, the cooling system had 2 months left on the warranty. Not to bad that, the graphics cards get released too fast though and expensive as fook. I only want the pc for gaming tho so going to have spend a few grand on it.

Have a look at this outfit, not far from you, if you're in Preston.

Pretty good, they do some decent stuff, the off the shelf ones are relatively cheap, but the cases are standard and crap.

Better to configure your own spec.

Don't know the stats on the breakdown , but I'd still put a small wager that those 629,000 taxpayers end up paying more next year at 40% than this at 45% ( and that is with zero trickle down effect which seems to be the latest phrase we have imported from the US).

Its human nature, why take big risks or work your arse off if half of the extra effort you put in goes the to exchequer? You cut your hours, bonus, dividend etc instead and live very comfortably thank you off your 150k .

Who are this shower going to blame for sterling crashing? The B of E, Americans, refugees, Raheem? All 4? Alternatively the economics manual what KK just wrote in crayon with his new jackanory happy ending probably claims that sterling crashing is a good thing.

Yep, It's a constant source of frustration and a lesson a lot of (well meaning) people on the left fail to learn from time and time again.

I rarely game nowadays, games demanding incredibly expensive machines to run them, my latest one will just about run anything. If I do play, it is usually older stuff like Witcher3 or XCom2, spent a few years playing WOW, but it went to shit, and subscription based, with dramatically falling numbers in subscribers. Was a big fan of MMORPG's
