As you may be aware, North End forward Finlay Cross-Adair appeared at Preston Magistrates' Court charged with a string of offences including several counts of assault and stalking. He will next appear at Preston Crown Court on June 30 for the Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing. In order to not prejudice the forthcoming trail and to ensure no defamation cases could be made against users or the forum itself we request that users do not post anything regarding this case on PNE-Online. We always wish to allow freedom of speech but our number one priority is ensuring the future of the forum. We will keep this policy under review once this case has gone to court. Apparently because inflation has been so bad in our country.
But the smoke and mirrors are out, with the fall to 8.4% yesterday is "showing that we're heading in the right direction". 🤮🤮🤢. And that smoke will be wafting around again soon when they hit the magic figure of halving inflation... and most of the country will understandably not grasp that the rapid and huge price rises of 10-14 months ago are dropping out of the calculation... unaware that they don't drop out of the prices we're all paying... those rises are baked in. And unaware that it was imperative to get price rises down rapido. But hey... the Tories are doing great, and that's one of their five priorities already delivered.

Great news today that ofgenitals has reduced the price of energy to keep us alive........ Not when we needed it but now...when the weathers picked up and no fuckers using it. .... What a really corrupt Country we live in.

I used to pay £115 a month combined. It went up to £211 when it all went tits up. After 12 months of that I'm £350 quid in credit! So now am going to either demand the surplus back or reduce my DD by £40 a month.
I always get my credit back. No chance I’m letting them keep hold of my money!
I want to change supplier but it seems if I do, I have to have direct debit. I have never had direct debit for my bills, I have always paid them when they have landed. Surely people should have a choice? I don’t want some company telling me how much up front I have to pay, gaining loads of interest on folks monthly contribution, I’d rather have the interest on MY money. I know you can build up credit so it’s not as much of a shock in winter, but I just put more to one side.

Coming back from Paris confirms to me how much we're in the shit. Believe me. Theres little evidence of any crisis there, the prices in central Paris are the same as shitty English pub grub prices. Everywheres heaving, the stores are groaning with quality fresh food and goods and theres no boarded up shops. Our MSM love to major on their riots but frankly thae French just love to moan. Theyve got it good, have sorted their energy and invest constantly in public infrastructure and the prople buy in and support it.
60 euros for 2 course lunch inc drinks and tip in top class brasserie.

I would have if I could have. Wasnt an option. All Id say is that theres s constant pulling wool over peoples eyes concerning our state compared to our neighbours. Its a convenience and most everyone will buy into a story that well at least our neighbours are feeling the same pinch. Its bollocks. If Jeremy cnut was a French Minister and stated as he did today that he'd happily ditch the economy if it got inflation down, he'd be debagged on the spot as youve recognised above.
I reckon our greatest weakness as a Nation is apathy... And I'm buggered if I can work out why that is. Any ideas?
