UK Politics

Just another day in Tory run Britain, Maybot caught out lying through her teeth (yet again) about Welsh devolution and Esther Mcvey claiming she's a "compassionate Conservative" oxymoron anyone? It's like living in the twilight zone.

Sadly I am old enough to remember when such a thing existed (a compassionate Tory). That wet nonsense was kicked out by Thatcher 30+ years ago

Stuff the poor here as long as you get your fairy tale eh?

The poor that aren’t being helped by the government? I vote against them.

Ah but Brexit belongs on the Brexit thread.

Just saying.

Mind you, thinking about it, Brexit is led by the odious right so there is some crossover in fairness. Fararge, Banks, Johnson & Mogg. Real socialist there, eh Nobs?

Self serving career politicians will always jump on a bandwagon.

But anyway, you keep telling yourself that one group is super whilst the other is bad. I'll stick to being non hypocritical, whilst you do the opposite.

Quiet announcement of huge change for older couples.

Now, if EITHER is over state pension age can claim pension credit. From 15 May, BOTH must be over state pension age (new claims). Long threatened, often deferred. Perhaps we’re all looking the other way?

So now theyre chasing down those whove historically voted for them. Is there any depth that the tories wont sink to in their endless pursuit to push wealth further and further upwards?

Guys I have just done a little clean up for obvious reasons.

Let's keep things relatively civil.
I read this post earlier and didn't see anything untoward?

Who was getting boisterous and do you want me to give them a slap?

Anything that lying Prick says is bullshit anyway. He can call me what he wants, it generally means the opposite is true.

Jezza got ripped to pieces by that wimp Gove tonight and was side swiped by Watson and sat there like a whimpering dog ..... poor poor show imho.

Michael Gove used his speech to push the same lies and smears against Jeremy Corbyn used in the last General Election that were rejected by the public and lost the Tories their majority.

There was no defence of their record, they have no more to offer.

The gullible fell for it though.

Bollocks to Gove because he's got his own agenda............. Corbyn however is up the creek without a bloody paddle....... His party want another referendum, he can't force a GE and even if he did then he'd be wasted thanks to his parties remain ( don't kid otherwise) stance..He's buggered....

What a bloody shame that Corbyn and Brexit came along at the same time because they are two completely different issues but in my view will never be allowed to be.....Another generation of tories unless labour stands up and goes Brexit which aint going to happen. Opportunity lost but in fairness he'll always keep his integrity in my book..

We saw the difference tonight, Tom Watson was very gracious and statesman like towards May concentrating his attacks on her failures as PM and her policies,

I was ashamed, as a human being, to hear the filth being thrown at someone who never, ever makes personal comments back? It was the most gross, disgusting thing I have ever seen in the House.
