If he'd lost the receipt for the paper clips that he'd bought for the office and so put in a claim for drawing pins instead (let's say they were drawing pins that were for private use) then would you be bothered? Technically wrong but...
I get the sense that this case might be somewhat along those lines - or some honest mistake. I just can't believe he's REALLY committing blatant fraud.
I guess it won't be quite as straight forward as that and we'll find out what he's done in due course.
I see another MP has left the racist party . For the good of politics in the UK there needs to be a decent opposition. With Corbyn in charge you will be stuck with the Tories in power for the foreseeable.
I must have missed another Tory defector?

Most northerners are racists if we take the line that Brexiteers are racist according to your views on ESG. Of course you would not tar the Labour MPs from the North who agree with Brexit.
Your statistics prove nothing and all you are doing is trying to deflect attention to the serious issue your party has . Your Racist leader and his left wing buddies are condemned by their own silence and failure to deal with the anti semites within.
By continuing to toe the party line and ignore the serious issue that your party has you will lose further MPs many of whom are extremely sincere , open and honest in their views . You are backing those that are waging a hate campaign by social media against those that have stuck up for their principles. You appease racists.

I think you confuse fact with opinion. Fact is I do not have a party , I have an opinion which differs to yours. I can’t even pretend to know where your true beliefs lie as you are a remainer but you support Corbyn who is anti Europe ,
As it seems to me that you would vote Labour whoever was leader and whichever road the leader was taking you down I wonder who you would back in a two horse race , John Mann or Jeremy Corbyn ?
I respect John Mann and if he was standing for election in my area I would consider voting for him , I would never vote for Corbyn or anyone like him. I suspect many Labour voters feel the same and as the lefties continue to gain power in the party and as blind faithers like yourself continue to support the likes of Corbyn , McDonnell and McCluskey you are leading people like me who would consider voting for a John Mann to look elsewhere. I voted for Lindsay Hoyle at the last few elections, and I will continue to do that, whoever is leader of the party. Hes a very good local MP who is actively involved in the chorley community, forexample youll probably find him this morning, as many Saturdays, stood outside Chorley A nd E picketing for its full time reopening.
My political beliefs are socialist, in that I believe principally in a fair days work for a fair days pay. My political life started as a union member because of those beliefs.
If John Mann was leader of my party, like JC and Ed Milliband before him he would have my full public support.
If John Mann was to leave Labour and say join this new centrist group he would not have my support as none of them will have now.
Just to add I resigned my membership under Blair and only renewed it again under Milliband. However I continued to campaign for Labour because the alternative, as we are now seeing, brings destitution and misery for far too many people in this country.
Absolutely right decision. Should have been taken more promptly and instead of saying he would be investigated and not suspended and then suspended him, we should just have suspended him straight away. Still, we got there in the end...the man's a fucking clown.

My late Dad always used to say to me, "When in doubt, say nowt." I like Chris a lot but I admit to cringing at latest events. Im hoping this turns out to be nothing more than the leadership taking him to one side and being told something else my Dad used to me. "Keep thee Gob shut until thars engaged thee brain." Very wise words especially in todays toxic society.
Ive no doubt that Chris` heart is in the right place but.............................
God almighty I might have known you two pillocks would side with the PC brigade.......... Taking social bloody media ( tits of every persuasion) out of the equation then I doubt that labour is any more anti semetic than any other institution so why has it been massively singled out?............ That's pretty much all he said.ie.. This is being blown out of all proportion he said.
