Just one flight to Kigali within the next 12 months may tip the balance. If it just contains our favourite gibbon on a one way ticket, Id go for it. He can take advantage of the journey time and take a risk management course on board. Although according to Vallance, he'll only be able to retain the detail for 8 hours max before his spongey distracted brain is overtaken by visions of bendy buses.

Who knows - but apparently there's offshore Oil deposits, how much in relation to what was under the North Sea I don't know. I dare say enough to consider invading again.
 
Sometimes people get on Raes back and others for their views and opinions but there are a number of us on here who have sadly been on this planet a good number of years and as such have seen and experienced the political merry go round for decades..false promises and expectations that invariably turn into shite.
For me..this country needs a jump start and the Tory's are not the ones to deliver it. Labour could get it right if they just tweeked a few of their policies and stood firm on the issues that so many are concerned about.
Hoping for the future to be brighter than the past ten years or so

Unfortunately for Raef, Starmer is a Tory in Labour clothing so I’m not quite sure that he will be Raef’s cup of tea…….

Made some money on these years ago with Desire and Rockhopper shares. The oils is there, it just needs deep water drilling which is only viable when the price of crude is high.

The bloody islands were uninhabited. Argentina didn’t even exist when France and then ourselves established a settlement. Spain had them, the USA for a couple of years. Argentina for TWO MONTHS in around 1830. The islanders voted 99.8% in favour of remaining British in 2013.

If there is even a small case for sovereignty here then Hawaii is on its way back to the Hawaiians and parts of North Africa should be handed back by Spain.

It is just about the least credible claim for sovereignty out there. Good grief, we’ve more right to these than the bloody Channel Islands.
