Red every day of the week.

On a different not why is VAR being used in this game and not the earlier swansea v city game?

If a missed slide tackle is a red card, there would be numerous red cards a game. Pearson should have had a red card for a similar tackle today if that's what people think.

It was a mistimed tackle, no studs showing, never caught the player high up, it was a foul and a yellow. Nothing more.

If one of our players received a red for that we would be going mental.

Pearsons tackle, today, was nothing like that one.
He attempted a slide tackle, missed the ball and got the man. It was similar.

As I said, if one of our players were to be sent off for doing the same tackle, we would be furious. It was nothing more than a yellow.

Not having a pop, but what's this obsession with bringing Ben Pearson into just about every card seen on TV, or every one received by our opponents in matches?

It just seems that refs are biased when it comes to BP. The red card for Middlesbrough should have stood and so should have Man Utd's given if BP had committed those same fouls you would no doubt have received a ban.

A much needed result. Back to back defeats for United, and you'd hope a good hiding from Barca in the Champions League, will knock the Solskjaer bandwagon jumpers down a peg or two.

The delirium surrounding United in the months since OGS has been appointed, from media and fans, has been absolutely painful. Especially following their 'fortuitous' victory over PSG.

I am not convinced OGS is the answer to United's long term problems. Talk of giving him the job full time (which seemingly started after his first 6-8 games) was naive and premature. Surely United's hierarchy will wait until at the summer to review the situation objectively. United's side remains very average, that hasn't changed overnight with the change of manager.
