    He was - he impressed my old dad, a great North Ender now passed from this life, and anyone who could do that had to be good. So was Callum Davidson. As I said Cunningham is a perfectly serious candidate to be the best left-back we have had in half a century - but so are some others. The best of them all may yet prove to be Josh Earl.

    Great servant to pne, Earl is going to come on leaps and bounds now he will be 1st choice, just need some cover for him now.
