Pretty Vacant -Sex Pistols live at Brixton Academy 2007. Get it on youtube on your phone/tablet and plug in the earphones. Absolutely stonking tune and superb live performance.

Like a bit of New Model Army - and the Sepultura cover isn't too shabby, either

Seen them live a few times over the years.

Playing @ Castlefield Bowl, Manchester today with Levellers, Wildhearts. Should be great in the glorious weather.

The Ghost Of Cain album is great piece of work. I highly recommend this purchase by NMA.

    The Hunt.

We went into town on the tuesday night
Searching all the places that you hang about
    We're looking for you
In the back street cellar dive drinking clubs.
In the discotheques and the gaming pubs
    We're looking for you
You will pay the price for my own sweet brother And what he has become
And a hundred other boys and girls
And all that you have done
We picked up the trail at the Seven Crowns.
One of your cronies - he was doing your rounds
    We followed him
Just a silhouette figure up market pass.
Where the headlamps shine on the groken glass
    We followed him
Over the bridge by the old canal
Where the shadows dance on the lighted wall
He stopped to light up a cigarette
And we dived into a doorway
No Police, no summous, no courts of law
No proper procedure, no rules of war
    (No, No, No, )
    No mitigating circumstance
    (No, No, No, )
No lawyers fees, no second chance
    (No, No, No, )
There are lasses getting trouble on their own home beat
There are old folk battered In the open street
    In this city of ours
There are eyes that see but say nothing at all
There are ears that hear but they don't recall
    In this city of ours
So we followed your man back to your front door and we're waiting for you outside
'cause not everybody here is scared of you
Not everybody passes on the other side
No Police, no summous, no courts of law...
    (No, No, No, )
No proper procedure, no rules of war...
    (No, No, No)
    No mitigating circumstance...
    (No, No, No, )
No lawyers fees, no second chance...
    (No, No, No)
And we could spent our whole lives waiting for some thunderbolt to come
And we could spent our whole lives waiting for some justice to be done
    Unless we make our own
No Police, no summous, no courts of law...
    (No, No, No, )
No proper procedure, no rules of war...
    (No, No, No)
    No mitigating circumstance...
    (No, No, No, )
No lawyers fees, no second chance...
    (No, No, No)

I went out with a girl once who said one of her favourite singers was Lenny the Slammer.
    She meant Slade the Leveller.
Dirty Harry. Spouting shite and nowt better to do since 2015.

Damned, Damned, Damned. Their debut album released in 1977. In this hot weather while sitting in my garden, I've had to endure shite from a neighbouring property, of the 80s variety. Duran, ABC, Spandau, Soft Cell etc. Today, I retaliated, I'm expecting a visit from the noise pollution people .

Machine Gun Etiquette was my favourite of theirs.

Yeah, not bad that one, although Brian James had gone by then. The first album is my favourite though. I don't think the neighbours were over impressed . A local band (The Seals) who play the pub circuit round here, often include 'Neat, Neat, Neat,' in their set.
