Didn't mind O'Neills, ok for one or two, but it's got the potential to be a good live music pub.

Hopefully when it re-opens it isn't overly focused on serving food but that's where the money is.

Kuckoo's prices and cocktails are bollocks but it's probably the best music in town along with Hartley's.

Church Street needs a decent bar that doesn't play shitty chart or cheese.

I noticed the old So Bar (it's probably had 4 or 5 names since...) was being gutted the other day when I went past. There were plans for an Albert's Schloss type place. If it ends up being anything like this place it will be packed out every week http://albertsschloss.co.uk/

Actually here's the story from last year. https://www.blogpreston.co.uk/2017/1...berts-schloss/

'Ballers' sports bar (used to be Mac's) is opening up 17th of September. Seems like it's going to be Americanised as fuck.

Sounds like the kind of gaff that'll be full of 'weekend millionaires' - groups of muppets all sat round a table, with a bottle of Grey Goose sat in an ice bucket..... posing for pictures and doing 'gun fingers'

Well if it's same people who ran Mac's then it will be frequented by bell ends no doubt.
