Do we know when the 2025 Retained list will be published?

Someone mentioned the other day, that for the last few years it's been on the 17th of May.
May 17th is the latest date that they have to publish this list.

Everyone OoC released imo except Pasiak (New 2 Year Contract offered) and Brady (PH wants him to stay).

Doubt that there'll be any major surprises.

Yeah not anticipating any shocks 👍🏻

I would release:

Woodman
Cornell
Hughes
Whatmough
Lindsay
Bauer
Evans
Riis
Storey
Whiteman
Keane
Okkels

Some of those (Whiteman / Storey) are on new long term deals, so no chance we're releasing them.

Best we can hope for is a transfer.

We can't release players who are still under contract which is the case with, I believe, Cornell, Hughes, Whatmough, Lindsay, Storey, Whiteman, Keane and Okkels. Of those Cornell has actually shown himself to be a decent enough back-up keeper and Storey, who is really a central defender whether as as one of the central pair in a back four or the centre of a back three, has shown that he is is not hopelessly out of place on the right of a back three. They are useful enough to warrant keeping.

Otherwise then presuming Woodman and Riis are determined to leave though I would be happy if both changed their mind all of the out-of-contract players have to be released apart from perhaps a one-year extension for Brady. The real problem is the in-contract players we need to offload - Hughes, Whatmough and Keane would all be excellent acquisitions for just about any Div 1 club. Lindsay is a bit problematical because he isn't as poor as some make out and could still be useful as experienced back-up. All we can do is tell them that if they want deals beyond the length of their contracts with us they are free to look.
