They count as a goal if they go in!

Yes, they do count as a shot on target or off for statistics. I have to admit I only watched the 15 minutes or so around the penalties and goal but he really does talk annoying twaddle - constantly as well, he never shuts up.
 
Thought Arne Slot was on a hiding to nothing following on from Klopp.

You could argue he’s inherited a quality side but on the flip side and in my view, he’s done an absolutely tremendous job in taking a quality side even further.

Don’t particularly like the club or the fans but hats off to them, they look brilliant right now.

Same here I didn't think they would be this good under Slot but here we are they do look quality and no doubt fav for a lot of competitions this season. Fair play to Slot tbh. Playing some top football & beating top sides like Real Madrid.

When he took over, I tentatively compared the situation to when Paisley took over from Shankly. A charismatic manager leaving, one who’d galvanised the fans after a very poor period and had totally reinvigorated the club, replaced by Paisley who took it that step further by pragmatism, astute signings and won virtually everything.

I might change that tentative suggestion into a more firm one, although there’s still a long way to go before it comes to fruition.
 
Thought there’d be a significant hangover for Liverpool after Klopp and I thought they’d struggle for top 4. Slot’s doing an unbelievable job so far.

The cheating and fake injuries is fucking embarrassing.
Get your foot trod on and hold your face.
A hand brushes your face and a prime Iron Mike's just twatted you.
Trip over your own foot and that sniper in the North stand has just got a bullseye.
The authorities need to stamp this shit out. They've said in the past they will but have done fuck all about it.
The cheats should be made to watch their actions after the game in front of an audience and asked to explain them.

I watched the Madrid game too. Ref stopped the game every time a Madrid player hit the deck.

My solution:

🟨 Automatic yellow card for anybody that 'causes' a foul (i.e. your opposition player holds his face or does a triple roly-poly? Tough, you're the one who gets the card)

🟥 Automatic red card for anybody that 'causes' a penalty (i.e. your opposition player goes to ground for any reason, in the box? Tough, you were near him, so you're off, instantly)

Let it play out for a season and let the players realise what a shitstorm it is, finishing every game with 3 people on the pitch.

I wish we could do an AI simulation and see if it stops all the cheating shite.

Pink card for being a bitch. Rolling around on the floor holding your face despite nobody touching you should also include wearing fluffy bunny ears and a frilly tutu for the remainder of the game.
