A Risdale Out banner flown by behind a plane seems reasonable value "

Entry Package

Competitively priced and ideal for short, attention-catching announcements and personal messages. This is flown using our standard composite, five feet high letter display. Up to 32 characters (including spaces) and is included in the £595 +VAT hourly display charge."

Just a thought 👍

Aircraft flown by a Kamikaze pilot ?

Not redundant from PNE, but as he appears to be contracted from another firm, surely if the club directly employed someone for his position it would be down to the other company to sort him out.

I don't know what his role or terms of employment are at the other company. I suspect
that it is a hangover from when he was only legally allowed to be "advisor to the owner".

One thing I never understood is he’s in his 70’s now, and with all the stick he gets and personal email and texts he receives. Surely, he must have enough money in the bank to just call it a day and enjoy his retirement.
He loves all the swanning around, Mr big i am, i left the i.follow running yesterday, after the Bristol players had clapped their fans, back under the stand all the BCFC wives families etc are congregating joking laughing celebrating, their he still is, smiling hanging about like a bad smell. I am sure they were all thinking, who the fucks he and who does he think he is???
Bloody embarrassment is what he is.!!

Sterling work this season, JK. You have put your heart and soul into it again - a thankless job when it comes to supporting North End, but one that is really appreciated by me and a lot of the folks on here.

One question: Can we get a tifo of Ridsdale standing outside the Job Centre?

no point getting him out while the others stay around, were just shuffling the deckchairs about while slowly getting nearer the water line, all of them need to go not just the old duffer,
Whilst I agree - the chances of the lot going are remote. At least if we can get rid of PR, there could be a chance we have a CEO/director that actually has a plan and the ability to get the most out of what we have.

The only thing missing for the chance to be real is the budget! It’s why the Hemmings need to sell the club.

But that's not what the ownership wants. They want a patsy who can deal with the hassle and not ask for more money.
They have fuck all footballing knowledge, so they would rather trust Trev's judgment from 10 years ago than try to assess the myriad of bullshitters who think they can run a club.

I suspect that he knows exactly where all the “dead bodies” were buried during the creation of the Hemmings empire and as such is completely flame proof. The last of the untouchables … yuk. ☠️

Instead of paying for a flag or even a plane towing a banner could we not crowd fund a small marketing production that actually makes our club look like a decent option for new owners to take an interest in.
Who knows how Ridsdale reacts when he gets any sales enquiries but I think we can all guess.
I think with our history and other add ons we have could make buyers a lot more interested than they are now.
Also something could be inserted that put the pressure on the Hemmings clan to reduce their unrealistic valuation of our club.

This is it, there are definitely plenty of wealthy ambitious people out there but nobody will know we're supposedly ready to sell. Ridsdale will be damn well making sure it stays that way too while he's being paid £400k per year by the current owners to do the absolute bare minimum.

We need to create a massive stink that garners international attention and makes people look deeper into why we're all currently so pissed off.

Try and get word out ourselves (by any means possible) that we're actually for sale; because we sure as shit know that large Pete and gormless Craig certainly aren't.

It's all proper desperate and depressing stuff but we simply can't continue like this. We're being neglected and gaslit by an absolute shower of bastards.

Surely you can only make someone redundant if their role/job no longer exists?
Yes, but it doesn’t take a genius to invent another job that does the same thing. We have to ask ourselves what does Peter Risdale bring to the club? This and his previous clubs. PNE were willing to take a banned Director, why? The fact is that he does not actually spend the money, that is Hemming’s prerogative and decision. So what do we define exactly that he is doing “wrong”. He has been part of bad decision making g, but at the end of the day is that not just poor ownership?

I firmly believe that if someone were to take the lead in setting up a fundraising initiative, tapping into the talent and skills within this forum and the wider fanbase, it could genuinely succeed, especially if backed by a strong public campaign.

For a variety of reasons, neither I nor the forum can officially front such an effort, but we would absolutely support it and provide the necessary space and visibility when needed.

We already have the infrastructure in place, whether through private or open forums, to facilitate discussions and coordination.

Our stance hasn't changed since December, when, alongside the PSC, we called for meaningful action. Unfortunately, nothing materialised, and what we feared nearly came to pass.

As you may have seen we are now publicly calling for Peter Ridsdale to leave the club, and for the ownership to finally offer supporters hope by presenting a clear and credible plan.

imo there are a few bits the same as it was at brighton levels in the mid 90s, they were getting no-where with hated owners, until the fans turned up on mass in mellor at bill archers house, he shit his pants & within a week the club was transfered (i think) to dick knight, however it took another 18months to get archer away fully, ok a few differences we have a ground theirs had been sold ,but point is our owners live far enough away(like he thought he did until that fateful day with 2000 folk in the front garden) so know full well we arnt going to their gates on the IOM or to south cumbria, fans need someone to coalesce around as a figure head, or its boycott merch & buying stuff in the ground
