Could this be the end of Trump?

So Trump’s plan is for America to own Gaza and chuck all the Gazans out to fuck knows where.

Get the US Army in to level it all, clear it and make it safe, then no doubt build the exclusive Trump resort and have a nice cut of all the other construction there.

It’s ethnic cleansing, there’s no other way to describe it. Fucking disgusting.

Even Trump isn’t stupid enough to build hotels in America with his name plastered on it after shifting the residents out of their holy lands

Imagine Germany had effectively won the war (which they nearly did). That they'd reduced large parts of the UK to rubble - including the region where you live, and your family had lived for generations. And then the leader of the superpower that had actually provided all the bombs smiles at you and promises to build you a nice new town in Poland or somewhere and you have to move there.

Would you maybe see that as grossly patronising - and would you instinctively tell them that Britain is your homeland, and that they should flick off? Would you even start to believe them when they said you'll be given a beautiful town to move to?

You can "spin it" how you like, but do you expect the Gazan people to say "Thank you Donald" and happy abandon their land - to the mercy of the Israelis and Americans? How can that be remotely fair. And how can it possibly reduce "terrorism"?

That's a very obviously difficult question. Maybe tented cities could be offered. Maybe something else. I don't know how it will work.

Maybe it could be explored that an option for temporary accommodation could be placed in neighbouring countries. Maybe some nice stretches of land in Israel could be given to this. But it's something that needs discussion... crucially with the Palestinian people at the heart of that discussion. Otherwise it does look rather like ethnic cleansing.
