Sat in ‘The Wine Palace’ Monaco 25 euros for an Aperol Spritz 😳. 17 degrees and lovely and sunny.

That is a glorious walk over the cliff top starting at Puerto Del Carmen.

We have gone further on before to playa quemada this where the hills fall away to quite a flat area, it's very quaint, it's how I Imagine puerto del carmen would have looked before the tourist trade took over.

If you fancy venturing , take a bus to Playa Blanca ….

It only takes about 40 minutes and only costs 2.75 Euros one way…

Lots of nice places to eat and some nice bars, also one or two nice beaches.

We have been to Rubicon Marina which is not far from Papagayo but never actual been to the place itself …..

Is it worth visiting ??

We must go and find it next July if you say yes..

I work in the travel and hospitality business, so I’ve done this type of interaction with sloths many times. This trip has been more of a cultural experience.

I was there is 2017 and loved the place. Used to get cheap beers from a shop in the old town opposite a church and watch crazy street dancers perform there early evening. Seem to recall the city being known as La Heroica for fending off invaders. Enjoy.

Rio de Janeiro, last leg of my month in Brazil and I’m staying in Botafogo which is still celebrating winning the Copa Libertadores. It’s mid 30s today which is pretty brutal but hey, can’t complain.

If you like looking at wrinkly old folk with nothing on its the place to go🤣 we had to cross it to get to a place we were walking to, didn't know where to look. This is papagayo beach I'm on about not the area before the marina.
But it was a few years ago

I don’t need to go to Papagayo to see that , the hotel that we stop at in Playa Blanca as a nudist bathing area on the rooftop !!!!!
