Make no mistake I would, right now, play Evans above Riis.If you was a supporter of another club would you be happy signing Riis? Would rather take Joey Garner back first! At least he showed some passion. Riis should have been training at Springfields with the kids since January at least - Basic wages & no bonuses! Just pay him what he earns!
Me too. He may be old but he gives all that he has.Make no mistake I would, right now, play Evans above Riis.
I think other supporters would see his 12 G/A and the fact he’s the leading scorer of a Championship team and be pretty pleased. He’s been involved in 27% of our league goals. I don’t think his output will be easy to replace, especially with a disgraceful budget. If you was a supporter of another club would you be happy signing Riis? In the Grayson era when we had Robinson, Hugill, Pearson, Mageady to name but a few ,Riss wouldn't of been on the bench never mind being in the first 11. Under Grayson anyone not giving 100% wasn't near to being selectedThat celebration is the reason I hope the arrogant prick fails. He is shit and thinks he is something he is not. Can take Okkels and Mads with him for me.
He has been a fantastic servant to PNE.Following his first season at this level, when Alex Neil clearly wasn't too keen.
Riis bagged 43 in 132.
A goal every 3.07 games.
Throw in a very serious injury, too.
He's shit though...

We are gonna seriously miss his goals and contributions, even if I’m not going to miss watching his all round playFollowing his first season at this level, when Alex Neil clearly wasn't too keen.

Replacing his goals is really the key task of this window - we can sign all the defensive midfielders we like (and I am sure we will), but if we don't find a goalscorer, we're going down.
Don’t doubt for a second without Riis this season we’d be heading to league one.
Not sure there are many others I could say about.
Consistent championship goal scorer, will be tough to replace.
I think Joe Root worked it out easily enough.Good player for us in spells and I hope he has a great move somewhere.
I personally couldn't abide his body language and the whole hands cupped to ears malarky (I always wondered if this was a hilarious misunderstanding where he thought people were booing him instead of shouting Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis).
Solid goal output though, which we'll miss.
