Emil Riis

If you was a supporter of another club would you be happy signing Riis? Would rather take Joey Garner back first! At least he showed some passion. Riis should have been training at Springfields with the kids since January at least - Basic wages & no bonuses! Just pay him what he earns!

Make no mistake I would, right now, play Evans above Riis.
 
I like Riis & I do think at times he gets a bad rap for his demeanour which can make you think he's not interested but genuinely over the past couple of months he's downed tools & has the air of a man who is off & doesn't give a toss which is sad to see.

I think other supporters would see his 12 G/A and the fact he’s the leading scorer of a Championship team and be pretty pleased. He’s been involved in 27% of our league goals. I don’t think his output will be easy to replace, especially with a disgraceful budget.

In the Grayson era when we had Robinson, Hugill, Pearson, Mageady to name but a few ,Riss wouldn't of been on the bench never mind being in the first 11. Under Grayson anyone not giving 100% wasn't near to being selected

He has been a fantastic servant to PNE.

To say he is criminally underrated by a large and vocal minority (possibly majority?) of our fanbase is an understatement.

I wish him nothing but the best wherever he signs next. One of very few contracted players with a net positive contribution to PNE in the last 5 years.

Good player for us in spells and I hope he has a great move somewhere.

I personally couldn't abide his body language and the whole hands cupped to ears malarky (I always wondered if this was a hilarious misunderstanding where he thought people were booing him instead of shouting Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis).

Solid goal output though, which we'll miss.

I think Milly has got better potential than Riis. He’s definitely improved with his back to goal/turning a player and he’s pretty reliable one on one with a keeper. However, we must sell him or extend his contract in this window or he’ll piss off for free like Riis has.

Replacing both of them is going to be bloody difficult on the cheap.
 
People just couldn't deal with the negative body language of Riis. The reception Ched's sub appearances compared to Riis' actual goals told you everything about how the fans view him. Absolutely knew he'd score last day to keep us up.

A very rare talent scoring consistently at this level in a completely wank team.

Sometimes I don't think he hates Blackpool (a team he has never actually played since coming to this country) enough.

I find it quite amusing that a lot are now saying
'how do we replace our leading goal scorer' without spending a small fortune, when he, by and large got dogs abuse on here!
