Set to be announced tomorrow according to breaking news, as Turkey have withdrawn their bid.
Venues set to be announced.....
Wembley
Tottenham
Arsenal
Villa Park
Newcastle
Everton
Cardiff
Dublin
Belfast
Hampden
Final at Wembley, semis at Cardiff and Dublin.
I reckon Etihad could have replaced either Spurs or Arsenal as I think 3 London venues is a bit much. Hampden is run down but owned by the Scottish FA who will want it used, rather than Parkhead, Ibrox or Murrayfield.

Am sure the Etihad is being used - was a bit of a hoo-haa at the time when the stadiums were announced as Old Trafford missed out, but Eithad got selected (which was correct as Old Trafford is shite as far as 'top tier' stadiums go nowadays).

Believe it is contingent of City sticking another tier on their North Stand to get it to 60k+ capacity.

Will certainly try and get some tickets for this mind.

Wouldn't mind getting some for Spurs stadium & Everton's new one if possible.

Would like to watch England of course, but not all that arsed who's playing so long as I can get some tickets.

Would this mean all 5 nations qualify by right as hosts?
I think I read that because they are stepping in after Turkey pulled out the answer is no.

Which is funny because the 2030 world Cup is likely to be on two continents in about five countries and all those clubs are qualifiying

England have opted to go through qualifications. They are bound to qualify and don't want two years of friendlies. They've seen whats happened to Germany recently just playing friendlies, and friendlies (which would likely be against African or Asian teams) don't generate the same income.

Really? That’s a bold decision! A good one though.

I think they're all going to go through qualification. 2 teams who fail to qualify will then qualify via being a host nation. They've not announced what will happen if more than 2 teams don't qualify.

They've said it'll be the two with the best record in the qualifying groups, if that makes sense. So two nations will definitely be there at the finals. ( Cardiff is likely to be the venue for the opening match when the tournament starts)

Nothing has been officially announced yet. 2 with the best qualifying records is a possible scenario, but they haven't a clue yet.

I'm glad the FA have come out and said we want to qualify outright though. It's possible all 5 nations qualify outright.
