Sounds like it will be a brilliant day, and a great tribute, well done to all involved.
have read this thread i am a newcastle fan by the way and think your gentry day thing is a good idea.
firstly i think our away allocation is 2610 due to segregation and season ticket areas (before anyone complains am just telling you not agreeing or otherwise) i think any extra are usually for club officials etc in the milburn stand
secondly anyone aiming to sit in our end i would say it would be better to sit in the opposite end the gallowgate (south stand) as up in level 7 in our end gets a bit lively at times, as far as i am aware there hasnt been any trouble in our end with away fans all season. also you can pay to get in on the day but obviously if you come in our end be sensible
you can get details of our fans thoughts etc from www.nufc.com
drinking as i am sure this is the next topic for you all
loads of pubs two wetherspoons near the station one is a lloyds bar also yates' is close to the station. if you go further into town and towards the ground there is the gate a shopping centre that has no shops just bars restaurants etc

for real ale fans there is the newcastle arms up near the ground
sam jacks have the legendary sam jacks dancers on and a few others have exotic dancers
in a nutshell my opinion on newcastle as a place to visit is simple you will get whatever you come looking for, i know that sounds a bit funny but that is newcastle in a nutshell.
cardiff fans who came for a good drink such as the group from merthyr i drank with, it was a good laugh with plenty of funny banter, for those who came looking for something else am sure you can read about that elsewhere
hope this helps you come and have a good day looking forward to it be good to see you all in bowlers etc wish we did something similar
Will anyone have any spare Bowlers going/for sale tomorrow ? not managed to get hold of one this week ...someone suggested the fancy dress shop on plungy but I went in yesterday and they didnt have any 🙁
