Gentry Day 2014 - Brentford 18th April (Confirmed)

Listen guys, I was unable to get a seatiing ticket, ended up in standing, no problem really.

I would like to meet up with some North Enders, before match, especially PNE-Onliners, who I have never met. Is there a meeting point for patrons of this forum? Couldn't get a bowler, will be in a fishing hat.

Would be nice to see some faces.

I'm also a Preston exile now southern based. I'll be in the Griffin from about 11.30 am. Will be wearing my dark blue "The North End" sweatshirt. I'll keep an eye out for a fella in a fishing hat lol.

I'll look out for you. Will be going to my local in Twickenham first, won't get to the 'Griffin' until about 12:30 - 1:00.

Can't make tomorrow so I hope that all attending have a fantastic day.....support like the Gentry & behave like the Gentry.

Anyone want to to swap standing for a seated, last call, you may never be able to experience the atmosohere of standing again.

Straight swap, standing for seat.

If anyone wants to swap their 2 seating tickets for my 2 standing tickets then PM me. Would be very much appreciated by Mrs Waddie.

Bugger this, you highjacked my ad.

I will up my request, anyonewith a seat want to swap for standing ticket? I wouldn't ask but as I have only one leg and severe arthritis, which causes me a lot of pain, I don't mind standing but I will probably pass out after 15 minutes due to shrapnel in multiple wounds in my anatomy after fighting the Viet Cong.

If you can't help a veteran then I understand, and wish you well, I will bear the pain and inconvenience to watch my beloved North End.

What ho my good men,

We were planning to be in the Globe Brentford at around 1230 tomorrow and then on to the Griffin at about 1300. Just thinking though that the Griffin will get pretty packed, so might just go straight there from the stn. Were there any problems getting ale there previously with all the nobbers turning up - bit of a tight squeeze?
