£15 !!!!!

That’s robbery!

Who the fuck wants to watch Bolton play Birmingham, I wouldn’t go if it was free.

However maybe the fact that it’s a relegation battle, and they want to get as many of their own fans attending as possible is more the reason for that pricing strategy.

Which totally validates, as much as I wanted to go, my reasons for not going.

I didn’t have a problem with it, I had a fantastic day out, your stay away won’t make any difference at all, you just missed out. Your loss, but you saved a fiver!

The £15 against Birmingham is more to encourage home support, I don’t think it will make much difference to how many Brummies travel. It’s a big relegation dogfight game.

They could still charge £15 at the sides and full price at the ends if they wanted.

Strange that Hull are category A and not Sunderland, Sheff Wed and Sheff Utd

Here is how they have priced their home games (lower tier) so far...

Cat A (£30): PNE, Villa, Hull, Leeds
Cat B (£28): Sunderland, Fulham, Barnsley, Norwich, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Boro, Derby
Cat C (£26): Bristol City, Ipswich, Cardiff, Burton, QPR
Cat D (£15: Birmingham, Reading, Brentford

Yet all away fans pay £24 at Deepdale,no cat A,B,C and D here, If you tot up all the prices above it averages out at about £22.50 for home fans,so cheaper than ours but away fans make up for it.

It'll actually be more as Bolton sell the upper tickets first which for most of those clubs will be sufficient. We know the upper tier for CAT A is £35, probably £32 for B etc.
