Possibly just more dick waving from the Iranian government in response to their humiliation at the hands of Israel. Their proxy forces are being exterminated so they have to show some sort of response to keep up their macho image.
We can only hope that somehow the despised and barbaric Iranian government are toppled from within.

Iran is not Lebanon. It's the largest country in the region by a distance with a military closer in capability to Russia than pushovers like Iraq and loose paramilitaries like Hezbollah. They're far more than Israel can deal with, especially with the situation in Palestine and now Lebanon. Openly assassinating Iranian leaders in retaliation would be suicidal for them too.

Perhaps. But I still think the US would have no choice but to muzzle their attack dog. War with Iran means losing Ukraine and possibly even Taiwan. It wouldn't be a stroll in the park like Iraq or Afghanistan, far more like Korea or Vietnam surrounded by unfriendly, unreliable or outright hostile countries and organisations. Iran is a near-peer oponent with hypersonic missiles, some of most sophisticated and mass produced drone warfare in the world, and, perhaps most importantly, the ability to manufacture nuclear warheads at very short notice. I highly doubt the American people have the stomach to deal with the amount of casualties they'd suffer. The Pentagon knows all this, and will reign in Israel before it comes to it.

And as Sepp says, a lot hinges on the Saudis. The last thing they'll want is war with Iran, and with Russia out of the picture indefinitely, OPEC has the West by the short and curlies. Gas prices would grind the global economy to a halt.

When he said genocidal regarding the Lebanon, he was clearly incorrect. When he referred to the western 'empire' and 'chosen people', both of these could be levelled at Islam and Islamic states. However, the whole point of free media is to hear both sides so its tough shit, complain all you want.

Been a few years but with no love for Iran and not recognising Isreal as a nation it certainly would be interesting to see where they go with this

The interception rate is not as impressive as they're claiming based on the dozens of videos circulating. Dozens of hits.

And if you believe Israel saying no one hurt, nothing of value destroyed then I have a bridge to sell you. Fuel depots, airbases and military installations including Nevatim have been hit.

The beeb reporting suggested it’s 3 different systems depending on where and the distance. I.e. the Iron Dome is only for missiles launched in 40 km of the borders. Kind of intrigued how it all differs, mid distance is David’s something then long distance is something else. Missiles came from Iran in 12 minutes

The vast vast majority of unintercepted rockets fell on desert and waste ground, hence they were not neutralized. There are fake stories and pictures doing the rounds of Isaraeli bases being hit and aircraft destroyed, but i think, as much as it upsets you, these are false.

If Iran, had hit any of the above, we wouldn't still be waiting for Israel's response. They would have responded most likely along with America, almost immediately
