Knife Crime

I just missed being caught up in this on my drive down South to meet a friend this morning. Was about 30 secs away from where it happened when I hit standstill traffic. Saw the car wrecks and bloodied bodies on the floor. Horrible.

Video footage captures alleged stabbing attacker circling bloodied car

Wearing a white shirt covered in blood and cradling an injured arm, the suspect was filmed swearing at the bystanders before sprinting up a footpath pursued by a police officer.

A poor young girl lost her mother who was trying to separate a fight at the ‘largely peaceful’ carnival.

A Swedish chef is also now dead after he was attacked. Images of his suspected murderer are circulating so surely it won’t be long before this swift new justice system has him banged up.

Notting Hill Carnival: Mum and chef die after separate attacks

Both deaths are now being treated as murder investigations, say police.

Nothing to see here. Just part and parcel of large urban events and we should keep our mouths shut, and accept that it’s going to happen.

Unless it’s white people carrying out the violence. Then we can call it out for what it is, mindless, bloodthirsty violence.

Yes, I’ve always found it odd that the world doesn’t seem too concerned when black people are killed as long as it is black people doing it.

Just seems odd.
 
And whilst I don’t agree with some of your posts re Palestine, it is the same subjectivity which is applied to the situation there.
People are killed tragically all over the world but the reaction depends very much on who does the killing.

An alien would land, take one look at us and get back in the spaceship.

It should never ever be just accepted that murder will happen of course.
Whoever did it should be looking at a long prison sentence as lives have been wrecked.
A run down prison system is just one of the services that need rebuilding after a decade or so of neglect.

London Turf War stabbings strangely never get much publicity. From the little I know about it, it's seems like turf wars between mainly young black guys to sell to the people with 'reasonable' levels of disposable income every weekend. It's habit-forming , Cocaine. ( But it's ok, they've always known that, and of course, can handle that )
The 'problem' of these killings is just as much to do with the customers as it is with those who serve those customers. Who are usually of a different skin colour.

It always ends up being somebody else’s fault.

‘I stabbed him because this bloke over here started buying from him instead’

All Noel was trying to say, but didn't have the balls to, was "it's all Whitey's fault"

The view of a lot of people seems to be that everything is down to the white man and black people are not intelligent enough to have their own thoughts, responsibility for their own actions and the ability to know right from wrong.

That of course is utter bollocks, but it's usually those who preach virtue to the world and are convinced they are the good guys, that turn out to be the biggest bigots.

Nah - it's both sides fault . No customers- no dealers.
There's fault on either side. But at present most 'customers' in the UK are white, and most dealers are black. (The way things are going, with the falling of white people birth rate, it's going to be different in another 50 years.)
Stereotypical types are stereotypical because it's ever so often the case.
It's true more black people are likely to take the risk of dealing. They have less to lose and more to gain, proportionally. Even if it's only temporary due to getting sticked.
With most of the coke, it's controlled by people of origin of South American Countries.
Not black, not white, but some shade of a kinda brown , as they come from Columbia , Peru, Mexico etc etc. with a piece of Spain picked-up along the way. These controllers even build and man there own miniature submarines, let alone planes.

And the ignoring of the appalling treatment, and some people saying the genocide of, the Uyghurs Muslims in China. The usual suspects are quiet when that situation is as horrendous, if not more so, as what is happening in Gaza, because it is actually deliberate and targeted.

That's just lazy social stereotyping. But the average 19 year old black guy IS more likely to join his peers in a gang, and live in a council rabbit hutch.
However - a lot of Asians ALSO start like that, but they don't join a gang and start dealing & packing knives etc. They have a totally different work ethic & don't need to carry that "It's all whitey's fault" chip on their shoulder, like a hell of a lot of young Blacks 'have' to
