If you’ve got a library membership you can access the whole newspaper online free of charge.Good Preston pictures, but then the usual dating / Putin / other routine garbage gets integrated.
One of my favourite moments as a North End fan, I also had hair on that picture so something else to reminisce about! I imagine Gary Briggs was sulking somewhere off picture, although nowadays Ellis would have had to go off for treatment and the goal wouldn’t have happened. Some old pictures from an LEP post I saw to lighten the mood.
Where were you while we were getting
high?

Yes remember him Scally, were he and his mates from Longidge?I was right near those lads 'dancing' in the away end at Leeds Road Huddersfield, I remember it vividly, the lad with the mohican was always in the warehouse. I went to two games there a 0-0 and a 1-0 win.....remember playing darts v locals in one pub and the height of the board and distance from the oche was way more than here!! Had the biggest best Yorkshire pudding there too......great pic and good times for away days. 👍🏻
Not even the mighty Dog & Partridge FriargateHas anybody?
It reminds me of some of the kits I used to see in the LEP league on a Sunday back in the 70’s and 80’s
Purpley-blue shirt, Black shorts and Yellow socks…..
