Confirmed PNE Supporters Meeting Minutes - 16/11/22 (Response to open letter).

did you ever think any would be, the sole purpose of this meeting was for Ridsdale to make fools out of all those who gave up their time, a complete and utter waste of time, those who think they achieved something are so bloody gullible.

I did actually think they may have done something on a small scale like the top of the IPS yes Bill.

Sadly they once again have decided to take us as idiots and that we will just forget.

We should revisit all this. I’ve DM’d you

Undoubtedly you are right in your cynicism, however sometimes you have to go through the exercise - to prove the point !!
Exactly! It is now crystal clear that the club are not actioning any of the points raised. They must surely realise that they will haemorrhage support at an alarming rate if they continue to sit on their hands and do nothing.

Having slept on it I feel the exact same as last night .

I’ve had my fill of PR and CH and the rest of the firm running this club into the ground .

I’ll pick and chose the rest of the home games as already paid for but they are not getting another penny off me.

No cup games (including spurs) or home games next season .

But I will be at Birmingham and in future will support the team away from home only.

Not another penny in the clubs pockets till we have new owners and people who actually give a shit .

Needs to be some serious protests arranged and quick .

How can fans justify time or efforts when there is zero strategy from the club. Record season ticket sales, thousands raised & invested in initiatives.

Abysmal home record.

roken promises - fanzone/leaking roofs/top of IPS.

Conclusion - They don't care.

Perhaps the time has come to turn the tables, all those involved unite and start a continuous protest for those in charge to sell up and leave our club along with PR.🤔

Doubt I will renew my ticket next season. First time in 20 years. Even at a discounted price again.

What’s the point.

I'll wait and see what the rest of the season brings and also see what my mates(that I sit with) will do but for the first time since the Westley era I am giving the matter serious consideration.

There is only one thing left, turn the tables on them, vent our frustrations, let them know this is our club, you can see from the posts on here across many threads the real passion the supporters have for our great club, even those not attending or only attending the odd games.
Let's use this passion and vent our frustrations on those incharge who have completely ignored the vans views and in no uncertain terms let them know they are not wanted at this club,we want them out and quickly.
Make Deepdale an unsavoury place for them to attend, just as unpalatable as the football on offer along with the match day experience.😡

I don’t think they care. We are in a phase of managed decline to get to a point where the books balance. Relegation is just an unfortunate by-product.

I still don’t think we will go down this year, although I’m beginning to waver a bit now, but I see no reason for optimism for 23-24. Nothing the club had said or done gives me any confidence that they are going to maintain a squad to compete at this level.

Fan engagement is not simply going through the motions and ticking boxes.

I wince when I think about the time some fans have spent setting up these supporter groups. Time you could be spending with family or doing something useful.

It seems like the club is indifferent to the idea of treating the fans who care the most with complete contempt; like it's collateral damage in their world of zero ambition.

I'd hate to own/run a football club. What a thankless task. All you get is grief.

But I'm not sure how treating so many of us like mugs is helping their mission.

I hate to say it but we aren't going to enforce any change whilst we've got the fans from the Facebook groups supporting us. Hemmings and Ridsdale can't do wrong for the vast majority of those.
As someone who is rarely very critical of the Club/Team/Players i was told by a happy clapper sycophant not to whinge and do i expect us to win every game and virtually told not to bother making a 2 and a half hour round journey to Deepdale if i can't be singing and chanting most of the game!
Replied that i did my singing and chanting 50 years ago and having actively been going on PNE since the age of 7 i was WELL USED to us losing at Home and not winning every game, yesterday was not about losing to a half decent Team, its hardly unusual, however the manner of defeat was absolutely totally abysmal, no cohesion, not enough effort, no plan or direction and basically a shambles and with the travelling a waste of 5 hours of my life!!
How any fan can criticise other fans for occasionally venting off about such a performance is beyond me!!
Those are the sort of fans that make you feel why bother actually attending, should have stayed at Home and watched it on i follow, wouldn't be half as bothered then!!

They had zero intentions of implementing anything they promised sadly.

I do believe that Craig Hemmings heart is in the right place but his hands are tied by KR.
I cant understand how this woman has got so much power over everything? Was the club not left to the family? If he knows his hands are tied then he should do the right thing and get the club sold ASAP to somebody who doesn't see ownership as a burden.

The bad weather made meant I caught the shuttle bus yesterday rather than walking and I was interested to hear the general chatter on the bus - I couldn’t bring myself to join in because I was still fuming. I didn’t hear one criticism of the board, owners or Ridsdale and nor did I hear much on the ground. I’ve always thought, and this firmed up my thoughts, that the majority people aren’t overly concerned (or maybe even know) about the problems we perceive within the administration.

Of course the manager and players are the visible part of the club and are always going to get vocal criticism when things are tough and it would be interesting to hear if any criticism was aired in the middle of the Finney Stand.
