No Guiggsy, Bonehead or Alan White so not really Oasis for me. Having said that I’m under pressure from my kids who loved Blur last year and are keen to compare and contrast what all the fuss was about back in the day
Bonehead seems the only likely one and Maybe Gem Archer. Think Alan White it was beyond friendly come the end.

Ultimately no one cares past seeing the two gallaghers I bet

This sums it up mostly

Clone Roses and True Order in Clitheroe later this month

I’m also going to have a crack at the Stipe REM experience in Manchester, also later this month

Ride at Limelight in Belfast.

Don’t think I’ve seen them since Blackpool with The Charlatans.

OMG - they were tremendous.

Feels like the first proper gig I’ve been to in years. My ears are ringing.

First night of the tour.

Get tickets!

I've not seen Ride since they reformed but they were a fine band back in the day. I wish I had the time to see this tour. Next time maybe.

I was also at the Blackpool show with The Charlatans back in the day. I still have the ticket but not the t-shirt sadly.

Saw someone with a Going Blank Again T-shirt which is what I frequently used to wear when I attended lectures.

So must have been during the first 18 months of my degree course..!

Had a surprisingly good quality green Cud one too.

And a thinner green Shed Seven one with a 7 inch single design in the centre.

Jon from Reverend & The Makers has cancelled the upcoming tour. Sadly lost his dad earlier in the year so thoroughly understandable whilst he takes time out to re-record the new album.

Made a point of avoiding the fuckers before and I won’t be altering my stance!

#blur

In saying that, I probably should have gone to see them at the Hull Adelphi back in the day.

Still, I got to see the Drop Nineteens there…..

I may have backed the wrong horse.

Funnily enough I am going to see the drop nineteens next month. Bit of a mad week with them, air and massive attack all in town. Though Massive Attack outside at the end of October sounds like a recipe for a cold damp evening.

This on Saturday Night at The Ferret.

Sold Out as are 17/22 gigs of their current tour.

Explicit version.

Radio version.

Blimey - I didn’t know they they’d reformed!

Enjoy.

Goldie Lookin' Chain exceeded all expectations and the sound at The Ferret was probably the best I've ever heard for a gig at The Ferret, you'd think the gig was at the MEN Arena.

Got a photo with the legendary Mike Balls...if you know the lyric with a nod to late 80s HipHop "I'm Mike Balls and I'm coming through"...
