That’s an absolutely disgusting challenge by Holgate. Career ender that and definitely intended to hurt Mitoma. Should get an extended ban for that one

Can’t believe he only got booked initially
Totally agree.

One of the worst I’ve seen in a long time.

Horrible challenge meant to seriously hurt him.

Curtis Davies and Tom Lockyer saying he’s just mistimed it🙄

The thing is, Mason Holgate is that crap, he could have just mistimed it.

What about the Blades goal being ruled offside?

Yes, the goalscorer was in an offside position, but the ball only came his way because it was deflected off a Brighton defender.

The officials discounted the Brighton player's touch because they deemed that it wasn't intentional. WTF?!!?

They've removed "intentionality" from the handball rule, but have introduced into the offside rule???? The football world's gone mad.

Luke Shaw off again, a new signing is needed to fill that position, great player but a crock, constantly injured and very rarely completes a game.

Utd now only five points from fourth and CL qualification.
Coming up on the rails so to speak.
For a side that has been so shit having lost nine games before Christmas, it is some turnaround.
I'd love to see them relegated but credit where it's due.

Hoijlund coming good at the right time. 8 in 8 with about as many shots.
His 2nd today was just goal poaching filth.

Wow that Holgate tackle was bad. Refs are so cowardly now though, relying on VAR even when its that obvious. The offside rule is stupid too, ball played forward "accidentally" is such a subjective insert. Every introduction to the game makes it worse. Unfortunately all because there's too much money at stake and managers blame everyone but themselves.

After 4 seasons of VAR, its clear it will never improve the game. So get rid. Perhaps keep it for offsides but clarify the rule. I wouldn't have it all for penalties etc. Let referees stop being cowards and being over reliant on it

How bad are Burnley and Sheffield United? Luton having a go, can't blame them, they are trying. Kompany is so far out of his depth, can't get his team setup at all. I don't see either of them bouncing back. Can see Leicester, Leeds and Southampton returning together, but next season I don't see Burnley or Sheffield United suddenly winning enough for an automatic immediate return.

Add Everton to those two. Ayew just hit a screamer. No need for his teammate to grab his cock to celebrate while he was prone though but.

Lonergan on the bench, he must have made a fortune since leaving PNE, bench warming is a good number if you can get the job.
One of the best careers in sports I can think of is backup NFL quarterback. Good money, none of the headache (sometimes literally) and responsibility, and you're always one of the fan favorites.

I wonder what Sir Jim's plans are for Man U, surely he isn't going to stick at 25%, he must have an overall strategy of ridding Manchester of the Glaziers and acquiring their 75% interest. It will be interesting to see how this develops, Ratcliffe must have a plan to take over, not much point in acquiring the 25% and sticking at that.
