Plus one of the playoff team has the dreadful Scott Parker at the helm
Funnily enough that’ll probably stand Burnley in good stead because nobody will be able to score past them.
The Huddersfield approach to promotion

Surprised that nobody is considering Stoke given that they are now minus Tom Cannon.
We'll be reet this season. Can't see us getting into any real danger.
Much more optimistic now that we're stringing together a few results, but consistency is probably going to hurt any attempts of looking upwards. I think we'll end up bouncing around mid table for the remainder. Hope to be proven wrong!
“reet”?
Sorry, slipped into Preston dialect! Not been living in Preston for years but old habits die hard. Means "right"/"alright", so fine basically 😀
Norwich will get 6th now they've got Sargent back, Boro 5th. West Brom just missing out because they keep picking up injuries and have no depth.
Plymouth, Derby, and Pompey for the drop.
Season over. Close the forum.
It’s more than mid 40’s to be safe…
52 points is usually enough.
Do people not read the thread? 😂52 is very high. Some seasons 40 is enough

I'm messing, you're not the 1st these past 24 hours I've posted "Posts #31 and #32" to.Sorry..i just answered someone answering me without reading the pages in between!
I'd be worried about Stoke going down. They've loads of cash from their owner and I would imagine they will do what Birmingham are currently doing - i.e. spending big in League One and, most likely, coming back into the Championship as a very strong team. It’s difficult to understand what’s wrong at Stoke. With their backing they should be promotion certs.
I had a look going all the way back to when they started using this structure in this league with the 24 teams and bottom three get relegated (1988-89 season). The average points tally for 22nd over the last 9 seasons is 43.77 Points.
Good work.I had a look going all the way back to when they started using this structure in this league with the 24 teams and bottom three get relegated (1988-89 season).
The most points a team in 22nd has had was Peterborough in 2012-13 with 54 points. The lowest number of points 22nd has had was Peterborough in 2021-22 with 37 points. The (rounded) average is 46 points
Don't blame you! I was just really bored 😅Good work.
I couldn't be arsed going that far back so our promotion year of 2015 was as far back as I went.
