Reply to a post not made

Hopefully this is the right place to raise, apologies if not.

I received an alert stating that someone had replied to a post I'd made, trouble is it's on a thread I've never looked at let alone posted on.

Have taken a s-shot if it helps.

Can you report the post in question please and/or attach the screen shot so that we can have a look into this.

Someone has quoted two posts and edited their reply is my guess. it then Attaches the quoted post to the wrong user

Thanks lads, LiS had a look at it yesterday and we think the scenario Jakehake describes is what's happened.
