I think that Maguire and Evans would thrive in League 1

They would - hopefully come January some clubs at that level might want to give them 18-month contracts. We should not look for a fee for either of them. Same for Olosunde.

I couldn’t see a fee being paid. Just getting their salaries off the payroll should be enough.

Not going to lie, I think ( ita not going to happen) but Andy Carroll till Summer would be shrewd. Brady crossing and Carroll on the end of them. Brady crosses alot into the box to guys with no height, Carroll would be a missing peice imo.

Sorry Micky, as per those bastions of truth on AVFTT, Andy Carroll is in talks about going to Blackpool.

Andy Carroll has been spoken to this week I believe.

Carroll not going to Wolves. He was 100% spoken to by Blackpool this week. Whether or not that develops into anything else remains to be seen.

I certainly hope so, if people are now pining for the long haired Geordie Messiah that I saw even Wolves having a look at. If we can't afford ANY loan players in a transfer window, when you'd assume you'd make money available and go looking, WHY DO ANY OF YOU THINK WE'LL MAGIC UP 15-20K MINIMUM FOR ANDREW!!!

Don't think Andy Carroll would accept Jamie Thomas type wages, so scratch that one out.

Carroll is probably more robust than Whickham which isn't saying a lot. On anything other than bargain basement wages i'd personally steer well clear.
