Surely we've got more imagination and artistic inclination than that? We should be looking to create a striking piece of art that we hope will stand the test of time. Not just slapping any old cobbled together images onto a massive piece of cloth.

To be fair our Finney Flag is far from cobbled together and any design put forward will be of the same quality.

We do respect though that not every fan is a graphic designer so should an idea need "finishing" we will do that.

When I say cobbled together, I don't mean the quality. I mean the thought process or haste in the choosing of the imagery.

Spending hundreds of pounds and opting to put Ryan Lowe on a flag seems ridiculous to me, but as the saying goes...everyone is different.

I'll leave my input at that because I don't wanna bring the mood down. Soz guys, as you were....
 
I think a Ryan Lowe fist pump with similar graphics to the TF flag would be awesome.
 
The fuckin top top flags around Europe are usually silhouettes of their manager or leading players with a short snappy quote or comment. It's not a flippin poster for your GCSE art class that you need 10mins to read.

Nah, we are in 2022, I think we should be proud of our history but not put it out there. Fans from other clubs, Lasher's included, already snigger when we do that.
 
Personally I'd like to see something contemporary, less traditional in design and without a reference to our early days as a club, we live in the past a lot.

Something in the same vein as the new Newcastle flag I reckon.

Have you got any examples? I'd genuinely be interested in seeing them.

I'm honestly not being a dick here but I've spent all my life with a bit of a passion for fan culture and art, and I honestly can't ever remember seeing one. Maybe I'm a bit outdated.

River Plate have a few Gallardo flags but that relationship is a whole different kettle of fish.
