The "Natwest T20 Blast" gets going today (hideous name). Lancs are away at Notts and it's live on SS2 for anyone interested. Should be a good game.
 
Hales gone. No century today. Reckon we'll (Hampshire) go far, if Glen Maxwell carries his IPL form into this comp.

He is and to be fair the Notts batting line up is probably the best in the division. I'm happy with the fact they're one of the teams we're only playing once.

Croft looking pretty good too - and he's now got Lumb!
 
Croft tarting around at less than a run per ball. What happened to the dynamic player of a few years ago?
 
Were not at the ball game on this one, sadly. I think its going to be a long tough season all round.
 
Bowling Anderson for only two overs was a mistake, although I understand taking the pace off we're talking about one of the best in the world not some journeyman. Junaid is a big miss.

Clark batting very well now.
 
Aye cracking effort from Clark there. At least that's one positive to take out of the game! Never heard of him until today. Playing again tomorrow so hopefully bounce back.

I'm not sure if they mentioned it on commentary but he's the one who got 6 sixes in an over in the seconds last year. He's got a superb physique.

Junaid will make a huge difference, maybe for Lilley with more reliance on Crofts bowling but we need some hitting at the top of the order - for me, we haven't replaced Moore and Buttler isn't going to be there all season.
 
Moore run out, got himself in, got going and then got out. Familiar story!

Nice to see Croft hit a bit of form, hope it's a turning point for him.
