Off the top of my head it's years since I saw something on telly that I find amusing.............. Red Dwarf and Afterlife Life are the only two that spring to mind and I'm not even sure either have been on telly.

I went to see Chubby Brown a couple of times in the 90’s , he was very funny and in the moment, I had a good laugh…….

Now his shows are being cancelled by the organisers because of the fear of offending everyone !!

Bravo... Concise and bang on the money................ I've only heard Gervais ( like him or not) buck this trend and refuse to comply but I'm sure there are a few others but it's not common.

I think his stand ups are excellent but I wasn't over keen on " The office " but I thought "After Life " was a work of genius......... All depends on your humour I suppose but we shouldn't be having the whole range limited because some are offended as that's plain wrong and we all have a choice and should apply it to ourselves only... and not every bugger else.

I enjoyed the Office but that is probably because I worked in an office for 47 years and could see the traits of a lot the people that i worked with in the shows characters….

Have to say, I would hate to be a comedian now. You have next to zero material to work with.

People have forgotten how to take the piss out of themselves, and each other. They have forgotten that not only is it funny, it's also very grounding and can help break the ice.

The rule is stupid but so was she, obviously got plenty of warnings theough the disciplinary proceedures but decided to continue trolling with this garbage despite them.

You dont get potted easily at local authority level.

He had the option to not fill them in - if they are compelled, that would be a different issue. My personal approach if anyone asks for pronouns is to say I don't care - I am not religious. Seems to do the trick.

Nothing he's put there is factually incorrect.

Id find it amusing, initially but would be tedious if it went on ad infinitum

Indeed. You also have to remember that companies have DEI & HR departments which are staffed largely by people who look for these people within their organizations and feel a sense of fulfilment at getting them out of the company. Don't give them that opportunity easily.

They do indeed and they give staff plenty of opportunities to adjust their behavior, which is key to the outcome of this case.

However as youre easily offended this wont make any difference to your sensibilities.

To be honest, who even reads signatures on emails at work other than the persons name.
They usually also have some made up bullshit job title as well. Most of them with the word "manager" after it.
