I see Wigan have found a buyer. It seems they've found someone to buy the club in a matter of weeks. Obviously their circumstances are different to ours, however, 2 years down the line, why are we struggling to find one? I'm guessing the reason is our asking price is too high but it is frustrating all the same.

how many different owners have they had since Whelan left? They always seem to get dodgy owners who come in promising a lot and delivering very little then sell the club after a couple of years

They should maybe take a bit longer to check the potential buyer out after their recent disasters. Bit more due diligence required.

Wouldn't jump the gun on this yet seems as if the current owner is the only one saying this (hes only one left on the board) hes released numerous statements recently none of which have ended up true.

Wonder if we would get some inspired sponsorships deal as a result of this Columbian takeover? Imagine an advert with Woodburn having some of Columbia Finest coffee and having a worldie of a game..

One word... Ridsdale
Any new owner would get rid of him in a heartbeat, do you really think he will be pushing for a sale?

The right stuff? Think we could collaborate on some own brand coke? Lilywhite cola.

I think the only hope for Wigan is that Whelan comes back in.

There is simply not a market for people wanting to buy loss making football clubs that are not in the Premier League. Get a mega rich local benefactor or risk the charlatans and chancers that will take you down and out.

Wigan supporters I know are really fearful for the future of their club and whether it will be able to fulfil its fixtures in August

The fans would have to have that “coffee“ to see that happen.

Broke his leg in a league Cup final apparently.
He never talks about it.
