Summer 2022 : Transfer Window Rumours and Discussion

Are you saying Christie isn't an athlete?

Because he certainly is, and his availability has been brilliant throughout his career.

I'd be amazed if we signed better.

I'm not saying he isn't Physical but he's got his injury problems and is quite old. Better for now, yes, but signing 29-31 year olds with issues is no strategy. We'd be mad to do this unless every cheap (which he won't be).

Whilst I find this “age” hill thing a strange one to die on, I at least admire you for sticking with it

But when you’re just making things up, it’s becomes hard to take any of it seriously. His last injury was a fractured foot in 2016 - unless I’m missing something obvious?

You would hope that by the time they fly out to Alicante on Thursday July 7th (or is it Friday July 8th?), that we have at least 2 new additions on board the flight.

Important that everyone attends this Spanish Training and Team Bonding exercise, if only to put names to faces for the new arrivals as they both train and socialise around the pool in their downtime.

If we get to the game v Hearts (July 20th) with no new arrivals, then I think it is then fair game to say that we might be in a bit of a right pickle.

Your right. Played every game for Swansea during his loan spell last season and 44 games for Forest the season before, injuries and fitness isn’t an issue for Christie.

I've been asked by a very good friend if I will be participating in the 'Moose Wrangling' celebrations. Sadly, due to personal height and weight restrictions, I am able only to participate in 'Beaver Wrangling' celebrations. Be assured, I will do my very best ;).
Is that your height and weight? Or the beaver's height and weight?

Sorry *u and a few others would never be happy with what players we bring to the club.
What’s happening is nothing new we are trying to compete with some massive clubs. I will be happy been the top club in Lancashire .
**Let’s give him time & not judge his signing till we have seen them play .
And I am a patron 🤣🤣🤣

First things first, thank you for your patronage.

*Secondly, you've absolutely no idea whether I and a few others are happy or not.

**Thirdly, if you're referring to Ryan Lowe, he's not negotiating the signings; he gives Ridsdale his wish list. Quite honestly, you're in no position to be 'judging' anybody.

RL needs to advertise the trip to Spain as 1 massive piss up and they will miss out if they sign after

Peter has been telling anyone who will listen that we want all our permanent recruitment in place for this trip.

Obviously loans for the like of Archer would come later.
In before he decides the only permanent recruitment we wanted was the goalies anyway

Thanks, but are we anyway near to getting permanent signings before the trip to Spain.
