So there is lots that needs improving on but it's not that bad? Bit of a contradiction no?
And short term memories please explain?
Lastly for the vitriol. Different opinions are not vitriol and if memory serves you give as good as you get in the vitriol stakes so you can hardly claim the moral high ground
Not a contradiction no, there's always room for improvement and there's a lot that needs improving but there's also been a lot of good in recent times. You can say there needs to be improvements whilst also saying things are not as bad.
Look at the summer transfer activity and then early season results, we had a very good summer by our standards that mean we can't purchase in January without players leaving, it's quickly forgotten the business we did in the Summer. Plus with the shortcomings of the manager coming to the forefront do fans really want Lowe to be backed this January?
With players like Evans, Woodburn, Cunningham and Bauer on the books to give us our depth and then starters such as Brady, Storey, Hughes, Whatmough, Riis, Osmijic, Frokjaer, Woodman all coming with different challenges (form, injuries, return from injuries, new league/level etc) is this season really the one where we're going to break into the play-offs? Not for me, there's too much deadwood and shite that needs shifting between now and summer that can't be done overnight.
Then you have the issue with youth and form where Lowe is clearly relying on experience to try and save his job.
We can sit here and type until our hands fall off about FFP, Bauer's contract, Evan's contract etc but that's not going to get them paid up or not renewed until the summer, it's going over old ground and spilt milk which achieves the square root of fuck all, I also think its folly to compare contract situations of one player to another as people have done.
I didn't say differing opinions were and I'm not claiming any moral high ground, but your last point backs up my point. I'm trying to talk about North End and you have to drag it to a personal battle.
