I wondered if anyone remembers any local artists comics/singers etc at various Labour clubs, I know "Wandering Walter" will crop up here" fetlers" but who else does anyone know? "Al Showman" comic from Blackpool often in Labour clubs? He also used to do the club in Topping Street. Did anyone ever see actor John Thompson appear at the Playhouse in Preston? What about Brian Rossi who appeared every week at the Queen's at Cleveleys? A very funny comedian from Liverpool originally. Let's have your thoughts on live entertainment, or were Labour clubs just not your thing?

Eric the singing postman(never actually seen him apart from some facebook stuff but he was Chair at Cadley Boys and knew everyone used to greet him like a minor celeb)
