I See a Bury reporter has tweeted that Blackwell has moan about GW not shaking his hand after tonight's game in his Press Conference by saying that hes never had anyone not shake his hand after a game.

If someone nicks your telly you don't give them the remote the next time you see them!

Just back from Bury, our first shot on target in a poor 1st half of long ball was the goal from JK, Byrom and the set piece variation were the highlight, Bury didn't know whether we were going to shoot or play someone in. The team must work very hard in training on them and they are beginning to bear fruit. Moose was poor 1st half but better in 2nd looked like he is short of fitness. Proctor had his best game in a North End shirt showed great skill for his goal. Monakanna wasted on the left again! Subbed in 1st half, then Holmes subbed in 2nd for Amoo to shoot and set Beavon up. for 3-2. Bury destroyed us down the flanks for the last 20 mins, BW and Foster were excellent at the back. On that performance we look mid table at best but they never give up, I hope this honest bunch can turn it round and mount a challenge for play offs. Great support yet again!

did anyone else see the young lad in the monkey suit being knicked by the plod? Stuckman had escorted him back from the far end of the pitch waving away the stewards who tried to get him. He also tred to get the plod to let the lad go to no avail. I thought they were going way over the top the way they were handling him. No sense of humour Bury police officers

Fair play to Stucks! Hope the young lad gets back to Preston safe and soon.

I saw that, an unnecessarily heavy handed approach.

Thanks for the report.

As for Goal 3... I've seen it on YouTube. I think the "assist" will be going to the Bury keeper, rather than Amoo!

I went to the game with a friend who is a Huddersfield fan and he said, as a neutral, that was the best game of football he has seen in ages. He was livid with their first equaliser, when they didn't throw the ball back to Stuckmann.

From my point of view, a very enjoyable game. I was particularly pleased with Cummins as I feel he has improved a great deal and Foster looked very accomplished at Centre Back with Bailey Wright. I really do like Jack King and feel his talents are wasted at right back.

The game was a bit of a sparring match until we scored with a well worked corner. I do like the set pieces Westley has brought to the club and we almost scored another from a well worked free kick. Bury didn't seem to threaten until they scored from a free kick which should not have been. That was the lift they had been looking for and from that moment on gave them the encouragement to have more of a go.

I know we conceded 3 goals, but the defence didn't have a stinker by any means. Each time Bury equalised we stepped up a gear and regained the lead. I just had the impression that we could step up the game at any time and got caught out by a brilliantly taken free kick in injury time. I have read somewhere that Stuckmann should have saved it. No keeper would have saved that.

In the end, justice was done and we won a hard fought cup tie.
