Really wanted to go today. We are flying high, big following, great weather, tasty match against some ex Nobbers, new signings..but alas, we've agreed to have our new baby granddaughter for the day to give my lad and his missus a break. Family first, and all that..

Players should be right up for this today . Loads of competition in forward areas . So looking forward to them playing well .
There are a few car parks around the ground . But need to be there early to get in them .

The pitch
We should have every confidence in getting a result today, joint 2nd in the form table and on a good run - even when not at our best at times. Almost has a ‘derby day’ feel about it with the recent connections to the opposition, cracking weather and the position it will start to cement an early position in the league - all the incentive to be well up for this.
It will be our biggest test yet, but we’ve come through a decent Sunderland team and come back against Swansea. Stoke seem to have had a mixed bag, and playing them now is probably the best time before the new guys have bedded in.
Happy with a point - a win would top it all off.
