Two of us have decided last min not to goStill REALLY slow sales for this, not even close to the cheaper 1,200 selling out yet. It seems the flip flops attitude has really put people off this time. As @Ando60 said on the match day thread, people are openly walking off now saying they're done with either this set of players / the club.
£240 quid between us and 12 hours of our time to watch what ?
Players season is done and so is mine
Good Friday will be my last game this season
Can’t wait for the huge transfer chat to start to entice me back next season….

When there are sales restrictions, tickets are always slow to move.
There’s clearly a bit of a lack of enthusiasm for away games — and it’s no surprise. I’ve been to about 90% of them in recent years and haven’t seen us win in over a year.
That said, I still think this one will sell well because it’s GentrDay and not so much about what happens on the pitch.
If it wasn’t, I probably wouldn’t bother.
You never know, we might go mad and sign a non league player who scores against us in pre season. Two of us have decided last min not to go

Yeah, not usually this slow though, especially for "in demand" games. The sales after today will be interesting as there are now around 11,000 eligible to purchase.

Usually book a coach with either Moorbrook or The Finney and neither are running one to this game
Tbf if they were we would have probably gone, can’t be arsed with trains to Hull and back on a bank hol .
Performance in these last two home games was the final nail for us .

I think most people will be stood anyway, my mate got our groups earlier and I think we are row C or D and we'll be standingI'm just waiting for the tickets to move over to the other side of the away stand before buying mine.
Can't be arsed being in with the day trippers who sit down on aways.
I definitely wouldn't be going if it wasn't Gentry Day.
Local game for me so will be there but can’t say I’m very enthused by the prospect. Very glad I’m away Saturday and can’t go to Elland Road.
Imagine the selfishness of sitting down in a seat!I'm just waiting for the tickets to move over to the other side of the away stand before buying mine.

In all seriousness, why would "day trippers" have got their tickets first? Those with season tickets and several aways went on sale straight after founder members. Also, why would the standing brigade want to pay more to sit down the side?

The long-standing ambassadors who do one or two away games a season. In all seriousness, why would "day trippers" have got their tickets first? A - yes I do, usually 8 or so per season. I also don't mind standing - I was just commenting on how ridiculous it sounds to criticise people for using a seat to sit in, some of whom genuinely might need to sit. For what it's worth, I think the sooner there's separate standing and seated areas at all grounds, the better. You don't travel away, do you.

Like it used to be before the over reaction and introduction of all seaters? Agree with you completely. 👍

Agreed. I’ll happily stand but when you’ve got your 7 year old with you it’s difficult.A - yes I do, usually 8 or so per season. I went to Hull last season and was very tempted this season but the 3 hours there and back is a massive put off added to the form of the team, flip flops on to add to that (Not seen us win away this or last season).
Maybe an earlier Gentry day is needed instead of when the flip flops are on and the predictable motivation gone throughout the club.
General sale and still haven't even shifted the initial (cheaper) 1,200. Players on the beach = fans stop turning up as well. The club should (but won't) be really worried by this - gentry day attracts good numbers wherever it is, so to be looking so poor in terms of sales for a fairly easy away day AND gentry day points to a complete switch off from fans.

Provided by the club.
Nice touch, may be next season a prompt for Craig,Peter and that other suit after this summer of revolution? 😉

We have sold nearly half our allocation in under a week, with very restricted sale pattens.
We have two games before and over a week until the actual match.
(Always two sides to every story.) 😜
