Serious question though, what is going to force their hand to change? Ultimately majority of the fans will still renew as they don't ever want to not go on games. Those few missed sales aren't going to send the warning signs it needs. Christ we nearly went down and he's still here.

What's next?

Consecutive relegations and the threat of non-league.

Cut PR some slack for christs sake.

What do you expect from him? criticise him by all means but post what he isn't doing, what would you have him do?

I give him credit for the good he has done, he's not perfect but who is. He is spinning plates all over the place at the moment trying to back Hecky and get the players he has identified. This is not easy, you have clubs that change the goalposts then cut throat dishonest agents who really should be eradicated out of the game as they are strangling it.

Then you have the owners who PR has to answer to they are his boss at the end of the day. They only give him so much money to play with and he has to utilise it accordingly. Yes he will get one wrong as it seems the case with Okkles but what about getting Cameron Archer in, Calum Robinson in, Tom cannon in, Alvaro in, Van der Berg in, these were seriously good players all of whom benefited from their loans at Pne and I am sure PR made them happen.

Brentford and Bournemouth have premiership money so they off set against the gate revenue so that they can survive.

Our crowds are pityful at times, I have trumped up for a season ticket since 1992 and despite getting fed up with the lack of apparent ambition and spending I have still done it hoping that I will see my team in the premier league but I don't think it will happen

A massive problem is Katherine Revitt and the board of the Hemmings family as it would appear that the majority of which are not interested in football and would get rid of the club in a heartbeat unlike Trevor who loved owning it and was at the helm. Craig is a chip of the old mans block in that he has passion for Preston so if he cannot convince the board to spend then it falls down to him investing his own money which is a risk, I know I would do it, but I might lose it in the process. Craig might not be prepared to take that risk

Without major investment we won't get in the premiership, there are massive clubs in the Championship now all with big bucks to spend so it gets harder and harder.

I will probably get slated but I think PR does a good job in trying circumstances at times.

You were completely wrong about Bournemouth getting more support than us.
They averaged 11,210 as opposed to our 16505 so more than 5000 less.
Brentford averaged 17054 so about 500 more but in the same ballpark and they didn’t get more than us in the championship.
The figures are for 2024/25

All I want from Ridsdale is an assurance that he will pass ALL enquiries with regards to the ownership of our club to the Hemmings family.
He’s going nowhere until they’ve gone.

Lets have something constructive from you for a change.
Fair point Archie 👍 apologies

But Bournemouth don't get bigger crowds than pne and I won't cut Peter any slack, he's a massive reason why being a pne fan is pretty shite at the moment. But fair dos, you're within your rights to poke me in the chest.

Decent post and what the forum is all about, differences of opinions but we all want the same result on the pitch.

I personally disagree with your last sentence as I think we need someone much younger, he’s too set in his ways and has a pretty bad record prior to coming here, but much of what you wrote makes sense.

Also, the laughing emojis you got from some were uncalled for. By all means, reply with reasons why you don’t agree, but don’t be childish and use laughing emojis.

In fairness most posters have given multiple reasons over time also and you can argue that Archie hasn’t responded to their points either. If everyone had to repeat their views to every counter argument we’d be in a quagmire
